gedren_y Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 In the Historica timeline these events happened between NOMEA and Battle at the Ruins of Mehd. ________________________________________________________________________________ After the arrest of the Peregrinus imposter, the Herbologists from Berigora were finally able to meet with Seshii Lahgnseid, Mistress of Herb Lore in the Nestlands. Seshii was about to go on an extended gathering trek, and was more than willing to take the three most experienced of the group along. The trek would take Seshii, Dandin Hep, Gordan Windhoof and Tara Piffle from Cobalt Vale northwest around Nod Nol, then east to the base of Ghuin Nol, and finally south to Seshii's home. This is where we find them. ________________________________________________________________________________ VHOA by gedren_y, on Flickr VHGA1 by gedren_y, on Flickr VHGA2 by gedren_y, on Flickr Seshii (brown hair), Dandin (purple hair), Tara (pink hair girl) and Gordan (centaur) make their way to the south side of Seshii's home see her elixir distillery. "Jus' a little farther, now," Seshii cajoled to her weary group, "Here's where ah got mah cust'm distill'r. SkaForHire Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Wow! So many interesting plants! I like that you built this all around that wood piece, that is quite an interesting idea. Great job, I am glad you got it finished and up! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Indeed many interesting plants You achieved a nice swampy feel with different shades of green you used Quote
gedren_y Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 (edited) Wow! So many interesting plants! I like that you built this all around that wood piece, that is quite an interesting idea. Great job, I am glad you got it finished and up! The plants were the real focus of the build. I had so many ideas. The wood piece was an early roof replacement idea. The build had so many false starts, rebuilds and delays that I wondered if I'd ever get it finished. Indeed many interesting plants You achieved a nice swampy feel with different shades of green you used My intent was subtropical valley, but it does seem a little swampy. Yes, I used five TLG green colors and one non-TLG green (one Brickarms piece). Thank you to everyone who's been so patient me and my build schedule. I hope my plant ideas have inspired other builders to expand their plants parts palate. Edited July 1, 2013 by gedren_y Quote
Maxim I Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Indeed a lot of very cool looking plants!!! Excellent job on this one Gedren! Quote
Gideon Posted July 1, 2013 Posted July 1, 2013 Nice to finally see the long expected MOC I really enjoy all your imaginative plant designs! What piece is the dark tan one on the lower side of VHS7...? Quote
gedren_y Posted July 1, 2013 Author Posted July 1, 2013 Nice to finally see the long expected MOC I really enjoy all your imaginative plant designs! What piece is the dark tan one on the lower side of VHS7...? Those are made with Brickforge splats, Brickarms HEDP Warheads (from the MAAWS), 1x1 round bricks and 3mm bars. There are a lot of Brickforge and Brickarms pieces in this build. I believe both companies have vendors in Europe. Quote
gedren_y Posted November 9, 2013 Author Posted November 9, 2013 I'd like to apply this build for UoP DoH advanced placement credit. Landscape Design: Flowers and Dense Foliage Landscaping (1 credit) Does anyone approve? Quote

NiceMarmot Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 +1 for the foliage. Although the photography on this one could use some work. Quote
jonwil Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 Great MOC, these plants and things remind me of some of the plant ingredients and such in The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (one of the best RPGs of all time :) Quote
Kayne Posted December 10, 2013 Posted December 10, 2013 +1 for dense foliage....I think you had enough votes already..but just in case Quote
