Kenworth K100- a try for a 42008 C model

i want to try to build a proper C model of 42008. the goal is a Kenworth K100 and i hope the 08 delivers enough of the right parts. this is what i have at this time

i must say that the low diversity of parts is not really funny. there are theoretical enough parts in green and red, but not much different parts. anyway currently it looks like this

I think it would be better if it was all green,you can get the connectors in green as well as the lift arms.

thats the problem with C models if you use parts that are not included in the set, then it not more an C model. and there is absolutely no green connector in the 42008

Ah....In that case I think you might be better using the 1/2 panels like in the A model.

no, maybe i will yuse an hand powered compressor for the kingpin locking system.

Personnaly, I like the color scheme, don't change ! The steering is very low with a mini-la, isn't-it?

indeed, it is very slow and absolutely unneeded. the liftarm method from the first pics works better for playing, but i wanted them for a little bit more complex build.

edit: an ldd screenshot from the steering system. unfortunately i have forgotten who has invented this steering geometry, but many thanks to him for this great idea

I think the size of tires is relatively small compared to the rest of whole body even in the A or B mode.

instead of fuel tanks i have made sidepanels to decreasing the air resistance

jes, it includes only parts from 42008, and no, the kingpin lock and taillights are to do at this time. and yes, i will make an ldd file.

I would have MOCed it and used only green on the cab, but for strictly using the parts from the set, it looks very good.

How much of the parts have you used by now? Are you making a trailer or any other sort of equipment if you have enough parts left?
