So the "sculpture" over the front door of the cafe corner is made entirely out of minifig ski's... interesting design, for those of you who haven't seen it: scroll down to page 26 of the brickjournal.

The set is listed for europe on shop at home at 139.99 euros.

Thanks for posting the Brick journal!!

Wow, thanks joe! The stuff about cafe corner was good, and now we know the name for the mech ryo pilots!

if your talking about the bbattle machine with the big jetpack, it's name has been on this website for a long time/

Posted

:-| ....The orange mech is called Blazing Falcon, which I was talking about.

The one you are talking about is called Aero Booster, which is the white mech.

I find that statement very hypocritical, as you are well-known for pointing things out that have been known fora long time.

Actually I'm already rearranging my room and my layout tables.

My wife has expressed concerns regarding our finances, though ;-)

Wow, Joe Meno is doing a great job these days. *y*

Just a few weeks after releasing BJ #6 they got out #7 (but Meno announced that in issue 6).

I started printing the whole BrickJournals to read them somewhere off my computer.

I'm intrigued about the possibility of adding more floors. I wonder if LEGO might consider selling additional floors to expand the building a few stories higher. Still, another amazing model. It still gets to me that so many people still complain about how LEGO still isn't up to snuff. This year is too good for fans, and bad for wallets everywhere!

You're welcome - this was definitely a fun issue to do (and with some interesting challenges)! And it looks like we will be getting some more articles like the Cafe Corner and the Hobby Train spotlights, so I am one happy camper!

Joe

Well the turnaround happened because I got behind on the previous issue. That was my mistake, and things havebeen worked out so hopefully schedule won't be delayed again.

One of the factors behind the turnaround I do have to give credit to is the Eurpoean Bureau - Mel did an outstanding job in getting things going, and it especially shows in Issue 6!

Joe

Super nice read! I wonder when they will finally go paper, that would be much nicer.

The challenges I have to figure before I go to paper are:

1. Price - how much would anyone pay for an issue?

2. Sustainability - not the content - we could go forever with that.

3. Quantity - just how many should be printed? Not how many are wanted, but should beprinted.

There's many questions that that present themselves on this, and I have to find the best answers. Right now, a lot of answers are contradictory. I personally want to be able to print, sell and not have a few thousand laying around in a warehouse or somewhere.

Joe

PS Some of the issue are available for print on lulu.com, but they are NOT cheap.

Maybe you should look at these guys:

http://www.gamersquarter.com/

They also have a free online pdf magazine(of very high quality) but they also offer print copies for those who like em. Sadly only in B&W
