Nightstalker Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 (edited) Part 1: http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=85468 Part 2: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85505 Djun and Lukan gazed through the portal in the room. On the other side, they saw a desert and what appeared to be a small settlement. They had their mission, bring peace to a land filled with instability. If they found friendly people, they were to help defend them, but if they did not, the natives were to be slain. The two weren't alone though. No matter where they walked, the Emperor would watch them. Once they found access to water, they were to call in a small detachment of samurai and builders. It was going to take time. Neither of them knew what truly waited for them on the other side. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- MOC Pictures The last part of Djun's introduction. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hope you enjoyed the MOC. As usual C&C is always welcome and appreciated!!! Edited August 7, 2013 by Nightstalker Quote
Captain Settle Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 Nice micro build behind the portal! I like the SNOT in this build. Quote
Gideon Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Good work with the introduction, interesting story and nice vignettes! In this one I especially like the portal with a microscale landscape behind. This MOC reminds me a lot of Stargate, but I suppose that this is another land on the same planet? :) Quote
Mike S Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 You're on a roll! Nice design on the room and good job with the portal and desert microbuild! Quote
Esurient Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Very nice and creative MOC! Great work on the design of the room! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 As others have said the forced perspective is really neat I like the swords with flags decorations as well. The red in the walls seems a bit much though, I think it would look better if you used the white/brown pattern for all of the walls Quote
SkaForHire Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Great story, and great vignettes! All three were done very well, with minimalist pieces, but a lot of character. It is exciting to have you aboard on team Kaliphlin. Quote
de Gothia Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 You are really improving with every moc! I like the colour combos in this one! Not sure what the purple cones are for? The little micro build is covered up by them so you can´t really see the micro until you see the "behind scenes"..? Quote
