August 26, 201311 yr Very neat file. It shows me some decoration surfaces I hadn't considered. Obviously any part that has mapping for multiple colors tends to have decoration surfaces programmed for those other colored surfaces. But additionally you can decorate the swim cap (99241) and boxing helmet (96204), which I believe have only ever been decorated in the Team GB minifigure collection. Plenty of parts from licensed themes also have their proper decoration surfaces mapped. The fact that the Technic panels 64391, 64392, 64682, and 64683 could be decorated surprises me, since I believe their decorations are normally applied via stickers. Previously the only parts I knew of that had "sticker surfaces" mapped for decorations were ones that were stickered in LEGO Factory sets.
August 26, 201311 yr Author @Aanchir Thanks, I am glad you like it. I am going to post LDD trick #11: Quick apply any of 1100+ LDD decors onto to any of 500+ surfaces of 300+ parts on the fly! (no need to close, edit and reload LXF anymore). With trick #11, we don't need decor templates anymore. Edited August 27, 201311 yr by bbqqq

August 28, 201311 yr Are these all the decals in LDD? Because decal #600778 is not in the image (the wood plank used in 10228 Haunted Mansion). Edited August 28, 201311 yr by Stephan

For example, to group decors for arms L/R, foot L/R, leg front L/R, leg side L/R, Belt, tiles, slops, technic, CMF series number, add group title etc. This video come with original sound track. Real piano, real baby crying. :-P Edit1: This tricks can edit LXFML on the fly. Can also quick precise move/change color/disassemble.. bricks. Edited August 28, 201311 yr by bbqqq
December 1, 201311 yr Thanks for the file bbqqq, there are many useful parts in it, that are not decorate-able default in LDD. I wonder why these surfaces are hidden in the program I myself made a "lighter" version of the file: lxf file Changes: - I excluded the biggest parts: base plates, power function (?) parts, trolls, huge monsters, etc... Now it takes less time to zoom in/out. The selection is arbitrary and is NOT a disparagement toward the part in interest. - tried to group the same parts (which has more than one decorate-able surface) near to each other, as well as similar parts (shields, tiles, bricks, etc..) It would take a huge amount of time to find ALL the same/similar parts, so it is not finished. I hope it helps many of us, as it did for me.

January 9, 201411 yr @bbqqq What happened with your Flickr? Many images, including the "wall" with decorations and ids (necessary for this guide), is not available anymore. Any chance to see it again?

June 10, 20186 yr I'd like to apply a decoration to an ordinary 2x2 round brick and to a nexo shield: ^don't pay attention to the arms (it's a different brick), it's only to demonstrate where I'd like the printing to go. I looked in the file but I didn't see these parts. I've never meddled with decorations before, so any help would be appreciated!
