-Carson Haupt- Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) I had a big long story written out, but then the page auto-refreshed and I lost every thing. So here's a short version: It's a big, old wall between Burnby in Avalonia, and Cedrica in the south. Niku Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Looks good, the overall is pleasant to the eye. The orange leave piece is a nice addition. The only thing that does not fit too well is the size of the gate, could use a bigger one. But that is just nitpicking. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 Thanks! Part of the story that disappeared was how the gate was small to force attackers to dismount, slowing them down. Quote
Niku Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Oh well that seems to fit perfect with the moc, I was thinking kind of the same thing. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted August 26, 2013 Author Posted August 26, 2013 Ok, glad it (sorta) got the idea across without a big explanation! Quote
Apple Pi Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Very nice creation! I like the gate and the fact that really works! The color scheme is good too, the olive leaves and the orange ones. Good job! Quote
Maxim I Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 That's a very cool gate! It looks really old, so great job :) Only nitpick: cedrica is a free city and capital of historica, so kaliphlin has nothing to do with cedrica :) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Cool to see a dark bley wall with bley rocks The windows look great and I like the ground texture. I think the trunk of the tree would look better in another color though, right now the bley blends into the rockwork behind it Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 I like the fact the muted colour scheme evokes dustiness! I do agree with SK about the tree- perhaps swapping the brown arch and the bley tree around so it's a bley arch and a brown tree? Quote
Gideon Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Lovely color palette and many nice details! Well done! One thing to mention though is that the white balance seems to be bit off (too orange), I suppose that the background is white in reality? Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted August 27, 2013 Author Posted August 27, 2013 (edited) Thanks everybody! I agree about the tree, but I like the arch brown. And yeah, it is white in real life. Edited August 27, 2013 by -Carson Haupt- Quote
de Gothia Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Looks great for sure! I like the colour scheme and the mottling on both the ground and the walls. I do agree with Gideon about the photos. Keep up the good work! Quote
Infernum Posted August 30, 2013 Posted August 30, 2013 Love the color palette in this build! Great work! Quote
