As we flew towards Bespin I thought back to what brought me here in the first place. I have a story very similar to many rebels. Not every rebel has... well let me start from the beginning.

I was heading to work in an old swoop racer my family had owned for a couple of generations ever since great-great-uncle Odis had won the annual Corellian swoop race back in the day. Waaay back in the day. It's a miracle it still runs, though it helps that it's been constantly repaired by my brother and I over the years. We have as many engine ports firing as we ever will at this point. The thing is just too old. We haven't done anything about the gaudy color though, it reminded us of the "good old days."

I thought it was a normal day as I headed to work and in some ways it was. The Empire was cracking down on the freedoms of alien species again. Nothing new, but this particular alien, a Qwohog, caught my attention and got me thinking...

Does the Empire really have to round up simple farmers? Even if he is of an odd alien race?

The speeder looks very nice, I specially like the rear/engines.

Thanks, I wanted engines that stood out. I'm glad I succeeded.

Very nice story and very well supported with the moc. I like the garden.

I have a limited number of plant pieces, but the Star Wars universe makes it easy to diversify when it comes to plant life.

I like the little garden, as well as the racer. You know the orange and blue livery is a popular one for certain sponsors.

I actually didn't think of the colors and NASCAR together. Thanks for the trivia info.

Nice build - I agree, the engines on the swoop look very cool.

As someone building for the Empire, however, I must point out that it appears the farmer was growing the illegal substance Banthazolate, making his detention perfectly justified

I like the story and the use of stonework and other older techniques (in-universe) in Star Wars. But I think you've got a lot of color in the plants and a lot of color in the sloop; I'd tone down one of them. (Depending on which you want as the focal point.) Some greebles would probably really help the look of the sloop and its barely-working backstory.

May I point out that YOUR Empire is doing more illegal things than my innocent farmer: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=85587

I have a tendecy to not use enough color so it's actually encouraging to hear I've gone overboard! I'll have to keep working to find a good balance. And thank you for your suggestion about adding greebles to the swoop. I think I'll incorporate that into my next free-build.
