TechnicHead41 Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 (edited) I know this is a little off topic. But do i use those html codes to put a picture up in here ?? Let's say from Mocpages ??? Edited October 1, 2013 by TechnicHead41 Quote
Jim Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 You can copy the URL of the image and use the picture button in the editor. Maybe this is helpful: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=18451 Let me know if this is what you mean/need. Quote

When ever i try that, all i get is a blue box width a question mark in it and the link you gave me Jim i could se some of the topics had the very same question mark ?!! Just to be clear, i use and old PPC Powermac width safari version 4.1.3 Quote
jantjeuh Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 (edited) I suggest you install Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Safari has/had a lot of issues with embedded JPEGs. Edited October 1, 2013 by jantjeuh Quote
Jim Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Can you post an image, so I can see the blue box with question mark? Could be that the url is wrong or that deeplinking is not allowed. Quote
TechnicHead41 Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Well Jim i can try. Nope ! all i got is this when i press the add reply button. "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this community" And i know it's a Jpg picture, i uploaded it myself on Mocpages. Even tried to copy the url from the url line and pasted it into the picture link url. Quote
Jim Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 Can you post the url here? http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/26155/1295776332m_SPLASH.jpg Quote

TechnicHead41 Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Well it can be my safari that has something about those links it don't like ? chrome ? not a chance, my mac is to old for that i'm sorry. Quote
Jim Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 You could use the button in the left most corner to switch to "code view" and type this: [i m g] address [/ i m g] Without the spaces of course. Quote
TechnicHead41 Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Didn't work either. Maybe it's one of my plugins that is doing it. Have already tried to google the problem, will see if i can come up with an answer. Quote
TechnicHead41 Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Nope ! still no luck. Have even tried out my Firefox, but all i got was a little icon with a broken picture in it and the same error message again when i tried to post it. Quote
Jim Posted October 1, 2013 Posted October 1, 2013 To finish this topic. Image url was not correct. http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?mocid=198235&id=/user_images/10175/1273491021m_DISPLAY.jpg instead of: http://images.mocpages.com/user_images/10175/1273491021m_DISPLAY.jpg Quote
TechnicHead41 Posted October 1, 2013 Author Posted October 1, 2013 Thats right Jim. Problem solved with a lot of help and guidance. Quote
