Aitoruco Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Renfe 112 series is a high-speed train the Spanish railway company Renfe Operator, manufactured by Talgo and Bombardier. It is an evolution of the 102 series. The series is designed for driving commercially at 350 km / h, although it has been approved to 330 km / h. The maximum speed currently circulating is 300 km / h. The composition has been shortened by several cars due to the significant weight that nevertheless have left the most important cars throughout the train. Only works in Smoth curves wagons have been left "business class" Second class wagons and wagon cafe Now some details of the train Quote
JopieK Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Aitoruco that is an amazing build! Very nice indeed! Very difficult nose but you got pretty close to the real thing! Quote
dr_spock Posted October 4, 2013 Posted October 4, 2013 Nicely done. What is the reason for long snout on the engines? Quote
Aitoruco Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 thanks for the replies, the reason for that nose is eliminate all aerodynamic sound in high speed in real engine. Quote
davidzq Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Hello, I am a talgo builder myself and I was wondering if you had any photos of the way you attached the bogies. You say it only works on smooth curves, so I'm assuming you dont have a mechanism to allow the cars to seperate for clearance, while keeping the wheels parrallel to the track. Perhaps the work of James Mathis http://www.brickshel...lery.cgi?f=2267 or myself v1:http://www.flickr.co...157626410047262 v2: http://www.flickr.co...157631793237402 could help. Aitoruco Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 (edited) Cars work perfectly, but i make Train Mocs who play only in smooth and medium curves, anyway thanks for the information Edited October 5, 2013 by Aitoruco Quote
davidzq Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Alright, but do you have any photos showing how they work? I am always looking for inspiration to improve my own designs. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Great realization. For the cab did you peruse the decorated windscreens? e.g., or Quote
Hrw-Amen Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 This looks nice and just like the real one. It is always nice to see someone make a realistic train with such detail. Quote
