Posted November 5, 201311 yr Hello, Some people asked me to show the mixed minifigs I used for my Star Wars models so I decided to shot them (yes, just like Solo) and here are some pics. Those are Mos Eisley / Tatooine citizens but can be used for other Star Wars scenes too. Droids: the grey one is based on Lego Advent Calendar 2012. The blue one is based on the vintage Kenner Power droid. The green one is based on R1-G4 A power droid in dark blue. Green Sy Snootles and insect like figures. Frog and Ithorian type figures. Aqualish and "banacafalata" type figures. Utility droids. Long snoot type figure, I built it in 2003 and kept it as is since this period. Kyuzo (like Embo the bounty hunter) style figure The ladies... only the best ones. Note to mod : Hope it's not too heavy for tha page? If ok I have more to post in the next days.
November 5, 201311 yr These are excellent! Really some fun people (?) err citizens. Thanks for sharing these. Andy D
November 5, 201311 yr Wowie wow! These are all so amazing! I really love your Sy Snootles! Pure genius!
November 6, 201311 yr Author Pleased to see you like them My purpose is to enjoy and inspire people as I've been enjoyed and inspired by others builders. here are two more:
November 6, 201311 yr Haha... Cool! I never thought about building minifig heads with bricks... But it looks good.
November 6, 201311 yr Amazing and fun creations - my favourites would be Sy Snootles, Long snoot and Ithorian.
November 8, 201311 yr Great figures! Much as I admire molded alien heads, I always think it's so much more in the spirit of Lego to see them brick built. There's some fantastic parts usage here, I particularly like the frogs on Sy Snootles but the Ithorian and Aqualish are my favourites
November 8, 201311 yr Hey BaronSat. I'm a super long time lurker of the online lego community and I always have known you as one of the "father figures" from the way-back years - so it's great to see your stuff on here actively at this time. I agree. Aqualish for the win. I can't wait to chop his hand off! But the Kenner - power-droids. Drool. Give me one now.
November 8, 201311 yr Author Great to see you all enjoy those. I was pleased and a bit surprised to see brick build heads can work so fine as some others test were ugly or stupid I'm not the first one to use frogs as parts but I don't remember who was? Maybe Count Blockula? Build your own Power Droid in kenner style by downloading FREE instructions on my website here: http://www.baronsat.net/baronshop/instructions-SW-GonkDroid.htm More pics... Robots punk brothers The one on the left would look good in some Steampunk display too. The blue one is a Bail Organa. Probably some illegal plant...
November 10, 201311 yr You continue to impress my with your droids, they would look great beside the sand crawler, all these builds remind me of how much we need a new Mos Eisley cantina.

Thanks. Yes, we need more official Tatooine sets from Lego and of course a Cantina with a lot of new minifigs would be a dream.
November 10, 201311 yr Those ultility droids are amazing! It is wonderful to know that you just need a few pieces to build such a beauty! Keep up the good work! :-)
November 11, 201311 yr Whoa! I need to build these right now. The Frog and Ithorian are definitely my favorites of the bunch.
