jorgeopesi Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 This is my new WIP, it has a 5 speeds and reverse gearbox and in the video are working 2 L motors and a servo, of course it has suspensions too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-EFDpBT5Lc&feature=youtu.be Quote
Doc_Brown Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Looking good! I'm loving that manual gearbox. Man your servo sounds fast! Looking forward to seeing this finished. Quote

Junpei Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 The joystick controls for that gearbox are lovely! Looks amazing so far, how about some buggy motors? Or do you not have any? Quote
Meatman Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Is that gear shift lever using a push/pull rod system? Quote
jorgeopesi Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 (edited) The joystick controls for that gearbox are lovely! Looks amazing so far, how about some buggy motors? Or do you not have any? I used one on my old Pagani Huayra, it is very big and 2 would be impossible to fit in, in fact I don´t need 2 L motors this is a car to see the functions it will weight too much to play with them unlesss you consider funny to park it again and again . Is that gear shift lever using a push/pull rod system? I use the same system I used on my Huayra. jorgeopesi Posted November 8, 2013 Author Posted November 8, 2013 looking good so far will the gearbox be remote controlled or not? I have no room for it in that scale car. Quote
timslegos Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 I love the look of the manual gearbox! Sounds like the motors struggle at any gears past 3 though. Will it actually drive? tim Quote
VKTechnic Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 Looking great so far! Can't wait to see how this compares to your Pagani Quote

tibivi Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Great wip, does it have camber angle? Or is it just me seeing wrong :) Tibivi Quote
jorgeopesi Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 It hasn't got camber angle but it has too much steering angle for a supercar anyway it is easy to fix. Thank you for coments I am thinking change the servo for a S motor to have some room... Quote
Milan Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Those yellow slopes make me think you are building a Ferrari. F40 to be exact :) Quote

Hrafn Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 What is an S motor? He probably means a micromotor. They are very slow but have decent torque for their size. Quote
