Yooha Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 (edited) Heartlake Grocery My latest Friends set concept is a grocery. In this little shop you can buy everything that is needed to fill your belly. Meat, fruits, bakery product, drink, you name it. For the sake of rendering time, I removed the transparent parts from the 2nd and 3rd pictures. Edited November 27, 2013 by Yooha Quote
LukeWarmTea Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Gorgeous! Looks just like this new deli near me - same striped roof. I'd buy it in a second - those croissants! The meat stand - is that where a butcher could go perhaps? To serve customers cold cuts - which could then be bought on the right at the cashier? I'm assuming the blue strip is a bench? (Sorry, counter?) Also the shopping trolley is almost exactly how I have built my daughter a pram! Are there any new pieces/ideas for new pieces? Or is that not possible in LDD? Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Amazing project! The shopping trolley is fantastic! Quote
Kristel Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 This is cute! I particularly like how you've done the bread baskets. Quote

Yooha Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 I'm assuming the blue strip is a bench? (Sorry, counter?) Are there any new pieces/ideas for new pieces? Or is that not possible in LDD? Yes, the blue topped little "wall" is a counter, where the cold cuts are served by a butcher. I don't think new pieces can be done with LDD. However the other program, that makes the rendering itself (called POVray) can be used to project virtually everything. It was not designed for lego, it is a general 3D software if I'm right. But I don't know how to use it for anything else than rendering lego models. Quote
LEGO Family Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Lovely little store. And it really looks like it could be a friend set. Also, i love your rendering. It got a nice tweak looking both LEGO and animated at the same time. Well done :) Quote
