wonderpuddle Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 (edited) Here is my entry for the Winter Village Contest: Watergun race on the left, ring toss on the right, prizes in the middle (and overhead). Step right up and win a prize! Ring the snowman's nose and win a giant stuffed gingerbread man! Looks like Santa leads Rudolph by a nose! Does anyone ever win this stupid game?!? And what's this around back? A coin operated kiddie ride? The Rudolph kiddie ride actually moves. You can watch a quick video here: http://www.flickr.co...00/11375963575/ And you can view a few more pictures at: http://www.flickr.co...157638679276576 Thanks again for putting this contest on. Definitely a fun little build. Edited December 15, 2013 by wonderpuddle Quote
TheLegoDr Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Brilliant. I was actually going to do a ring toss game too, but your set up looks good. I really like the kiddie ride out back too. Good luck in the contest. Quote
wonderpuddle Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 Thanks! I had a bunch of ideas for carnival games but decided to go with the ring toss when I realized I could make it Christmas-y by throwing the rings at Frosty's nose. Quote
-Zond- Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Oh. That's beautiful! I like Santa and Rudolph! Good luck in the competition! Quote
NoEinstein Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Loads of cool details and it looks like the minifigures have a lot of fun playing the games and riding the reindeer, except for the guy throwing rings . I bet he really wants the Chewbacca doll without spending this months salary. Good luck in the contest. Quote
gazumpty Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Wow this has packed so much build quality and detail into the confined space. I really like the games and the mechanical ride round the back :) good luck! Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Totally AWESOME......dam, it's really become a contest now ! The games, prizes, the ride out the back with a freaking out kid on it.......wonderful work and good luck.......Brick On too 'wonderpuddle' ! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 This is a brilliant entry! So much detail there and I love the guy throwing the rings, he looks so frustrated haha Very well done with all the games, the santa and reindeer are particularly well done! Good luck and happy building Quote
eurotrash Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Plenty of details to enjoy and I'm digging the ride-on-reindeer! Good luck in the competition. Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 That moving reindeer is awesome! I was already building one for my fun fair, but seems like you beat me to it! Keep up the good work! Quote
sgeureka Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 A lot of thought and skill went into this entry. I love the water splash effect (I have tons of these Chima pieces and don't know what to do with them), and I like how there is "more" behind the main building. Quote
wonderpuddle Posted December 22, 2013 Author Posted December 22, 2013 Thanks for the comments everyone. This was a really fun build. It got my seven year old interested in building his own carnival game MOC. He's taken just about every minifigure accessory we own to use as "prizes". Quote
badboytje88 Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 Wow, there´s so much action packed in such a little moc. I love it. Great use of the ring part and the chi part! Quote
TheOrcKing Posted December 22, 2013 Posted December 22, 2013 (edited) The dreaded ring toss game. A perfect use for all those "One Ring"s you get with every Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit sets. I've always wanted to see the water pistol game done in Lego before as that still is my favorite carnival game. Well done. Edited December 22, 2013 by TheOrcKing Quote
LukeClarenceVan Posted December 28, 2013 Posted December 28, 2013 Haha, brilliant use of the one ring, and terrific prizes. Good luck! Quote
