Tomsche Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Not all traffic of small time budding merchants come to the cities by cart and road. Some prefer to travel by river on small river rafts, as this tends to go swifter... I went for a completely different approach with the Store. Normally, phase one consists of a Market Cart, but I thought to go in a different route and instead of building a cart pulled along a road, to build a small trade boat going down a waterway. This gives me the option for the later stages to build off from a waterside for the market, if it works out as planned with a pier and such. Ambitious and a lot to think off how to do it... Quote
soccerkid6 Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Neat idea to do a barge rather than a cart I think your barge could be improved slightly by having a folding ramp on the back, right now it looks like the cargo could fall out rather easily Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Nice approach to this, it's different! Quote
Gideon Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Goods on its way to Kaliphlin down a tributary of the mighty Arkbri river? Quote
mrcp6d Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I love seeing other people's twists on the AoM categories! I like using that water technique too; I think it has more depth of color than a pile of unconnected 1x1's and it looks more deliberate too, like you had to plan ahead a little bit. ;-) Quote
