mmcclelland Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) I have improved my post with better pictures, my thanks to lightningtiger for your advice! I have based my entry on the Hog Roast seen at many Winter Markets such as the one in Belfast. A whole pig is roasted very slowly over many hours to create soft tender meat for sale. I have taken inspiration from all of the previous Winter Village sets in my design, such as the flooring and the bench seen outside. I have also used a red 2x3 light brick to represent the open fire used to roast the pig. There are also five minifigures, The Stall Owner, two Customers (like everything in the Market, the roast apparently costs $100!) and a couple getting into the festive spirit under the mistletoe! This is my first post on Eurobricks and my first MOC created for a contest, so your comments are most welcome! Edited December 31, 2013 by mmcclelland Quote
lightningtiger Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Can I suggest you deep link your images from Brickshelf or a like.....those tiny images are hard to see to compare features of your design to judge. Looks good, but need bigger pictures please. Brick On 'mmcclelland' ! Quote
Rick Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Thanks for embedding larger images. Unfortunately, the maximum size for embedded images is 1,024 x 768 pixels all over EB. Could you please resize your images or, alternatively, upload the pictures to flickr and deeplink a smaller version without the need to manually resize them (check the links in my signature for tutorials on how to do this). Thanks. Quote
