Darkdragon Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Turning some of the animal costume headgear into animal hats. It might seem crazy, but there are reasons. Brown Bear (from Panda) and Bunny (from...Bunny) Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Would you be able to post a side on image? I can not see it very well from the picture above. Quote
Darkdragon Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Would you be able to post a side on image? I can not see it very well from the picture above. Can't see what exactly? The sides of the headgear are unmodified, not sure what you're trying to see. Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Sorry the woman in black's hat from her hair. Did you just cut the two pointy parts and stuck them on? Apologies for the mess I have seemed to got myself into,us technic guys don't venture out too often from our hiding hole. Edited January 10, 2014 by Alasdair Ryan Quote
Darkdragon Posted January 10, 2014 Author Posted January 10, 2014 Did you just cut the two pointy parts and stuck them on? Ah ok. Well no I didn't glue anything, much simpler and more painful than that. The girl's hat is from the Panda and I mostly just have cut but also recolored to resemble brown fur. Here are the pictures of the unmodified versions of the headgear. You venture out from the dark depths of technic into the deepest darkness of parts modification. I hope you brought a safety rope! Alasdair Ryan Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 (edited) Ah thanks,I see how you did it. You venture out from the dark depths of technic into the deepest darkness of parts modification. I hope you brought a safety rope! You can see I clearly forgot my safety robe with those questions I asked above... Now I will go hide again, before I cause more mayhem. ShadowWolfHount Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Really good like the bunny but the bear look really odd to me. Quote
Darkdragon Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Thanks for the kind comments. These are based on real life hats that are based on video game hats Here are the game hats: I will go back and fix the ears so that they are more in line with the game hat, I think. The minifig version is closer to the real life hat on the ears. It's always a tough choice on what is the "best" way to go when trying to combine different versions of things. Quote
