PenPlays Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 (edited) Previous part: Village of Sorrow Dawn of Ages Chapter 3: Wrath of the Undead, Part 2: Reclaiming the Fort Sakuseisha slowly followed as Yama and Shiro led their fellow Ringsmen up the mountain, hoping to sneak on the Undead horde marching up the mountain trail. But they were too late. The Undead had already claimed the fort as their own. Naturally, Yama and Shiro jumped into action. "The Wizard must have slain some soldiers from the Hand of Corruption!" Malivan pointed out. "Look!" The sword wielding Ringsmen watched as the Ninja made simple work of the Mallock's undead soldiers. "So, you have returned, fools of Avalonia!" Mallock was alive and well from his fall from the ridge back in Cornovaria. An eye patch covered his mauled eye. "Back away while you still can! For when I climb this peak, all of the dead, whether under Lord Savaage's control or deep in the Kelra Labrynth will be mine! The Hand of Corruption will be forced to surrender by the might of an entire Guild of the Undead! And that fool Savaage trusted me with his men. HAH!" Mallock formed a cloud under his feet and flew his way up the remaining portion of the mountain. "Secure the fort," Sakuseisha said. "I will return." With those short words, the Sensei went from an age-slowed man to the swiftest of Ninja. His cape furled in the breeze. "Wait!" Yama said. "Sensei!" Shiro shouted. Both of the Ninja followed their master up the mountain. "Now what?" Drinnian asked. "We trade anti-climatic threats?" * Category B is the second part of my MOCs for Challenge 1. The fort is furnished with supplies in the rounded portion. I don't think that meat will stick to his ribs... C&C is welcome as always. I'd like to claim the following credits for UPDH: Landscape Design: Sideways Rocks Military Science: Battle Scene, Fortifications Next Part: The Fire Inside Edited January 16, 2014 by kabel Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Nice fort. Great story too, I like the extension from your Cornovaria series! Quote
MKJoshA Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 Love the continuation of your story! And the way you have the brick-brickes going up into the arch piece is very nicely done. Quote
PenPlays Posted January 16, 2014 Author Posted January 16, 2014 Nice fort. Great story too, I like the extension from your Cornovaria series! Thanks! Expect my MOCs to flow together much like a book. Referencing to previous parts is a must! Love the continuation of your story! And the way you have the brick-brickes going up into the arch piece is very nicely done. Thank you. You have no idea how many times I wished I had the bricks to make this fort into more of a fortress. Thank you all for the kind comments! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 I like the black/bley color scheme and the rockwork looks good Excellent fig posing as always too Quote

Gideon Posted January 21, 2014 Posted January 21, 2014 Just the right amout of black to make it work (as black is notoriously hard to photograph) The minifig posing is well excecuted. Quote
