The mysterious Wizard of the Emerald Order is challenging you in this latest Eurobricks Building Contest.

Unearth the arcana by building your best Spellcaster and sharing a photo to see which is the best Wizard. For an added challenge, you may also build a Wizard's Workshop for your Spellcaster.

I find it disappointing that you've terminated the contest. :-/ I know I for one was interested, but didn't reply at all because I didn't have anything to add to the topic at hand.

Sorry SD. I was rather looking forward to seeing the entries. It's just that no one expressed any interest by responding.

Ok then. Good. :-) I shall begin planning out my spellcaster at once! *knight*

BTW, are you going to enter? And if so, will it be something other then the picture already posted?

I wanted something to set the stage for the contest, but that's not my entry. I plan to enter something else. - not sure what yet.

That would be a nice idea, but up to the admins/mods.

Come on castle fans, where's all those excellent entries? I really thought for sure we'd get at least a few based on the Magnificent Knight Contest.

There's more discussion here about the Castle contest on CC than our own EB contest. :-(

Could you extend the deadline a bit? I'm interested, but I just don't think I can get an entry together in time, as I'd like to do an interior.

I'd imagine that is due to the cool prizes offered in that contest...

Sorry 4j, but I have a busy 2 weeks ahead of me, so my entry can't wait. Sorry.

Anyhow, my Wizard is the Great Bambini.

wizard_contest001.jpg

He was born in 1450, and was sent to prison for life, for using his powers to make moonshine, and for accidently setting the king's daughter on fire while performing at her birthday party. When he was convicted, he was told he could only take on item to jail with him: His clothing chest. When he was taken to his tower to retrive it, he cheated the authorities by enchanting his chest into a portal, which could hold an unlitmited amount of objects. So he packed all his items into it, including his booze, food, bed, parrots, and card playing monkies named Jake and Jimbo. I would have made a more elaborate scene and story, but I got braces today and my head hurts like hell.

:'-(

Eh, I have a wizard as the owner of this large keep I'm making. If I ever finish it, I'll have a nice place to post in this genre, athos :-P Though at this rate it will take several more years unless I can find a huge lot of 2xX grey...

Black Tom the Necromancer

Black Tom replaced Willa the Witch as the mastermind behind the Fright Knights. He has featured in one of my entries for the current Castle Contest over at Classic Castle. If I get time I will build him a workshop too :-)

The seductive Melantha, Mistress of Poisons, is my entry into the Wizard Challenge:

melantha1.jpg

Rejected, for another, by her childhood sweetheart, Melantha turned to the deadly nightshade to rid herself of her hated rival. Her plan, however, failed, as her beloved was so crushed by his loss, he flung himself into the raging river and drown.

Being young and inexperienced in the ways of murder Melantha's crime was quickly discovered and she was forced to flee her village. Finding herself alone she quickly determined never to make such a costly mistake again and devoted herself to learning the ways of potions and poisons.

After several years and several successful poisonings, Melantha encountered the sage Rajnish. He recognized the great potential contained in the deceitful. He took Melantha as his concubine and student and began to tutor her in the ways of magic. Melantha soon learned magic could expand her already great knowledge and embraced the ways of sorcery. From Rajnish's secret sanctuary, Melantha plies her trade and releases deadly poisons upon the land.
