bacem Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 hey guys! after a long time, i finally able to came up with another combiner. this time i'm using jet rocka and the all new evo xl machine. even tough this mech is currently piloted by evo, i didn't attach evo's name on the machine because the color scheme doesn't scream, "evo!!" well, anyway, here it is. front: back: closer look at the jetpack, with foldable wing. for attack and defense, this mech is equipped with: 1) hidden missile, for surprise attack. 2 at each side, which makes it 4. 2) another missiles at the shoulders, which can be folded back when unneeded. 4 at each shoulder, which makes it 8. 3) double barrel cannon at one arm. 4) and lastly, an energy lance, to fend off enemy that comes too close. close up at the cockpit: close up on the container: and lastly, action pose. well, i think that's all for now. C&C appreciated. Quote
WARHEAD Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Man, that torso\cockpit area is amazing, love how you used the liftarms as very solid armor and how the Jet Rocka cockpit piece works perfectly. I just wish the limbs weren't so stiff looking. Quote

DraikNova Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Wow. The cockpit and main body is amazing (the cockpit works surprisingly well) and very solid looking. The fault of this MOC is it's arms; the legs look solid and pillar-like, designed for stomping, but the arms have a very weird bend in them at the elbow, which would look better if it was covered up by armor shell. Sir Brickalot Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Impressive! The combiner works well. I think the colour consistency could be improved, though. But otherwise, great MOC! Quote
Cirkit Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 This combiner works very, very well! Little Evo sits nice and tight in the cockpit, and thanks to the shape of the wind screen, has a place for his feet! I really like the way the Technic beams shape the torso of the mech, and I like those those big plate parts for the shoulders, shins, and "crotch" area as well. Lots of hidden little missiles on this machine as well, I like it! Something I'm not a big fan of are the exposed ball joints on the upper arms.. but if one is only using parts from the two sets, I suppose this could not be helped without totally throwing off the color scheme. And the hilt just after the Jet-part on the sword looks a bit.. flimsy. Again, probably could not be helped. Overall it is a very cool looking mech, and I quite enjoy it! Do you know if this measures any bigger than either of the two original sets? Quote
