The accusations certain Mitgardians were making against the Kaliphlin nobility did not go unnoticed by Masa. So to teach them a lesson, he decided to play a prank on them when he personally delivered Kaliphlin heating oil to Mitgardia. For the prank, Masa used a confiscated pirate dinghy and a small trade cog fitted out with black sails and loaded with Kaliphlin oil. The captain of the trade cog even donned an eye patch to play the part of a pirate.

The two ships then sailed for Mitgardia. To be certain his prank would not turn into a deadly matter, Masa avoided the heavily traveled shipping lanes of Mitgardia and took the oil to a small trading post in northwestern Mitgardia.

When the two ships arrived, the Mitgardians were shaking so hard that their beards fell off, but Masa couldn't be sure if it was from the cold or from fear of "Kaliphlin pirates".

However it was such a funny sight that Masa and his crew laughed all the way home after unloading all the Kaliphlin oil for the Mitgardians.

Nice build, minifig posing and story :classic:

Good job showing those Mitgardians that Kaliphlinites are peaceful (as long as we are not provoked too much )

I doubt those Kaliphlins had such a hard time to dress up like pirates, their privateers look like that all the time! (I really like the bigger ship, it looks very Kalphlin indeed!)

Excellent boats and ice floes, the little shelter on the larger boat looks great  It seems odd to me that the Kaliphlin sailors are dressed for such warm weather when they're in Mitgardia. Surely they must be cold? I don't see any fires/fireplaces to keep them warm on their ship :look: Very cool build though, I like how you have 1 guy below deck bringing up oil :classic:

 Great job! The ice mounds the Mitgardians are standing on are really nice, especially the shaping of the first one!

Thanks!

Nice build and the story with it is so funny!

Thanks! Glad you found the story funny.

Thanks! Best to be a Kaliphlin ally instead of a Kaliphlin enemy.

Ha, that is because we Kaliphlins are a jovial lot and there is always a masquerade ball going on somewhere in Kaliphlin. (Thanks  )

I really like the ship, very well done! Those were fake mitgardians... We never lose our beards!

Thanks!

That big boat is quite nice indeed.

The "beard falling off" part cracked me up!

Thanks! Glad to give you a laugh.

Thanks! Well as you can see the sailors are working quite strenuously so they are quite warm at the moment. They left their heavy coats below deck, usually go sleeveless in Kaliphlin and had no plans to stay in Mitgardia for long.

Beautiful minifig posing and photography Mikel. I love the humour in this set up. The Stern of the larger vessel is very Kali. Nice entry
