Duke Blastus Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Part 1 'Deep within the Orcish Marshes is the greatest healer I've ever known.' Thorrak continued, 'But the swamp is dangerous. We might not make it.' Thorrak was right. The Orcish Marshes were a treacherous maze of waterways and swamps. It was an area to be avoided where death lurked at every corner. Yet it was here his friend may find his salvation. 'I'm already dying,' Emelio laughed. 'What harm can one more adventure do?' Quote
SkaForHire Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Very interesting build. The gray plate kind of throws it off though, if you have a dark green plate available, it may work better as the water. Quote
Scaevola Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Yes it's a good moc, but as Ska said the grey plate detracts from the build Quote

Yes it's a good moc, but as Ska said the grey plate detracts from the build Thanks for the Nice, the river bottom looks cool! Thanks for the feedback! I have a few more MoCs set in the swamps that use dark grey as the water, it's really more of a stylistic choice but I like to think of it as brackish water. Quote
MKJoshA Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Is there any way we could get a view from the top? Quote

Duke Blastus Posted April 6, 2014 Author Posted April 6, 2014 Is there any way we could get a view from the top? Unfortunately not now, however the top was merely an upside down dark grey 6x10 plate if memory serves Sorry I missed your comment or else it could have happened Great work! I really like that you used the atlantis sharkman. Keep up the good work! Haha, glad you enjoyed it, I've got a feeling you'll like what's to come Neat underwater approach, I like the numerous fish Thanks! Nice to be appreciated Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Interesting way of depicting swamps! Nice work! Quote
Gideon Posted April 6, 2014 Posted April 6, 2014 Interesting underwater details! I would not have any doubts about acknowledging a University of Petraea credit for the underwater technique, should you wish to enroll there Quote
