Sir Brickalot Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 (edited) EDIT: Added a flying car. Because I can. Welcome to: It's All Fantabulous With Lego! The most Lego friendly house in the world! WARNING: PICTURE HEAVY. Here it is! There's me, with RoButler, BargainBot and TechnoDuster, my personal robots and my Lego tree in the background. Here's an overview of the house, with my flying car swooshing in. This small perch is where BargainBot uses the radar to search for any sales or deals on Lego in the country, coz who doesn't love a bargain?! On the roof is a spacious swimming pool complete with relaxing float and rubber ducky! (this house is located somewhere hot, not Wales!) RoButler has his work cut out as he hands me some tasty treats. When we move inside the house, downstairs, is a stash of money used by BargainBot to buy Lego sets on sale. This money is guarded by lasers. Here's the lounge area, with a fold up TV, a red couch, a table and chair for Lego building, a couple of models on display, and a hard-to-see-from-this-angle plaque reading 'LEGO'. When you walk in, these handy automatic shoe cleaners will make your footwear shine. In the hallway is a few more models on display, such as this plane... And this London bus and starfighter! In the kitchen, there's a fridge, oven, and an endless supply of chicken. I love chicken. Mmmmmm. Moving to the upstairs of It's All Fantabulous, we have a luxury balcony. This is the computer room, for all my Eurobricking, Flickring, Bricksetting, and so on, and a another plaque that reads 'LEGO'. There's also my Blacktron display in here. Wish I really had some Blacktron. Here's my cosy bedroom with a self making bed and a few more models on display. In the landing, TechnoDuster is hard at work dusting my X-wing, Batwing, fire station and tractor models. But there's more. A giant AT-AT and police station hide in the corner. Here is the bathroom, with a toilet, shelving, and one of those all in one soap rinse dry machines. There's also a shower behind the shelves, but I couldn't get a decent photo of it. And here's a close up of my awesome flying car. Turns out TechnoDuster is a pretty good mechanic too! TechnoDuster also installed some very powerful thrusters on the bottom. Wanna see more of It's All Fantabulous? Then check out the LXF File or have a peek at This Flickr Set! That's all of my dream house folks! Please vote for me, it means a lot! Thanks! Godtshep Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Really cool model! I would love a bargain bot! Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Sorry for the double post, but I got another photo, this time of me lounging on the float Quote
TheLazyChicken Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Great job! I would love to live there! The bargain robot sounds awesome, or should I say Fantabulous? Keep up the great work! Quote
Malikon Posted April 10, 2014 Posted April 10, 2014 that's amazing. I can't understand how people have the patience to design things in LDD and such. It takes me forever to find the pieces I'm looking for and by then I'd rather just throw some plastic on the table and slap it together. Quote
Chris Was Here Posted April 11, 2014 Posted April 11, 2014 that's amazing. I can't understand how people have the patience to design things in LDD and such. It takes me forever to find the pieces I'm looking for and by then I'd rather just throw some plastic on the table and slap it together. It is sometimes difficult to find parts the way LEGO sorts them on LDD, but I do like how digital builds are a lot easier to take apart than their plastic counterparts. Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted April 12, 2014 Author Posted April 12, 2014 Thanks both! This took me way longer than expected and I did lose patience at one point, however it's great when it's completed, you get a fantabulous feeling of achievement. Quote
jfuste Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Awesome results and great detail! I'm just working with some ideas for castles and LDD is a great tool... But some legal constructions in LDD cannot be replied in real... as brick bending to put a 1x2 brick between 2 hinges in angle (12º at most). But... anyway LDD is great!!! Good job sir!! Quote
MusicaRibelle Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Hilarious! No, really, it's a great job, great details, it would be a great creation to build and to play with. Good job! Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Thanks! I really didn't expect this much feedback! Quote
Sir Brickalot Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 I again apologise for the double post, but I've updated the first post as I have built a flying car to compliment the house. Also, I didn't want to make a new topic just for the micro entry, so here it is: A mini version of It's All Fantabulous! LXF File Quote
