Fleet Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Fleet looked at his squad. He knew their mission was vital. Secure this portion of the comms center so the Empire can not call out for reinforcements. They would have to breach quickly and precisely. After the dust had settled and burned ozone from the many blaster bolts had dissipated, Fleet reached for his comm "Mission accomplished, Target is secure." EDIT:Ha.. got the pictures up. Thanks for the patience Quote
Nom Carver Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Very nice one "Fleet", I like the look of the floor and the stairs, it certainly looks like a communications center. Quote
Dapper-D2 Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 The stairs look fabulous, but what really caught my eyes was the brown that differentiates the ground from the structure. Nicely done! Quote
Lord Tyrus Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Yeah, the brown works really well. Not bad for a piece of Rebel scum! Quote
Bob De Quatre Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Some nice architecture You could almost put your entry on top of mine Quote
BEAVeR Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 What a nice entry for the Empire! * gets to the third picture * Darn it! Well, nice entry for the Rebellion then. Because it is pretty nice. Especially the inside of the base looks great. you get that familiar Star Destroyer feel, but at the same time it is something new. Those stairs are superb, the decorations in the floor are a nice touch and somehow, I find those little monitors just adorable... Of course the outside isn't bad as well...those rocks are nice, but I really like the strong, rigid look of everything. Almost dwarvish. The simple, angular, functional architecture. Quite new for me in the SW universe, but very welcome as well! Instead of an insigna above the window (why is there no ray shield there in the first place?), I think some kind of ledge in the same fashion as the other protrusions would look better. That would give better cover for the Rebels as well, because they look really exposed on the roof with that thin communication equipment. It's just a small detail, but some kind of grapling hook would've looked better than that plain stud of the rope on the roof... But I still do wish this was an entry for the Empire... Quote
TWP Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Good build Fleet! I love that platform and the different levels, th rocks under the towers make a really great addition! Quote
Rogue Angel Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Good work on this! I like the separate comms tower and the stairs and the computers and control panels. I really like the way you portrayed the breaking in through the window. I was considering doing something similar with my build, and you've pulled it off quite well. Nice work! Quote
Kaitan Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I like the combination of interior /exterior - sometimes that doesn't work so well, but you've really pulled it off! Great build! K Quote
LegoFjotten Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Nice build! I like the way you used those round pieces for the stairs and the tower on the side. Quote
