The Murder of Chancellor Ungaran II

It was a day of jubilation for the residents of the bustling town of Anemaquar. Ungaran, the Chancellor of the Quatarian Isles had come to meet with the customs collector for the port to discuss further moves in the prosecution of the Isle's civil war. However, Ungaran's lictors were soon required to manage the vast crowds of celebrants (due to the diminutive local garrison) and Ungaran strolled to the grounds of Palatine Hall, the customs office, in solitude. With this opportunity, a local Urgaul Pact radical swiftly lunged at the Chancellor and swiftly burned him to death on the steps of the hall, plunging the town into absolute anarchy, chaos, and confusion.

Things are heating up, indeed! (No pun intended) I wonder what will happen next? Your buildings are taking on a very uniform appearance, which is pretty cool, it shows that your neck of the woods has a distinct culture. I like the roof a lot,

Thanks for your comments everyone

@SkaForHire, I was going for a slight contrast from uniform Kaliphlin builds, considering the Isle was only recently annexed into Kaliphlin

 Well, I like what you are doing! The story is exciting too.

This is quite a large, texture-rich building Scaevola! In some ways the effect is a little dizzying, but i think that suits the Kaliphlin love of ornamentation very well. :classic: I do like the corner view in particular.

One thing that you might want to consider next time is hiding the white background from between the open doorways and windows - it tends to break the illusion that this is a solid building. A hinged or removable back is a good option if you still want access to the interior. Another area that you could work on is your photography - both controlling your depth of field to get the things that are meant to be in focus nice and sharp, and photo-editing to increase brightness and mask out unwanted background (such as the trees above your backing board). GIMP is a great photo editor and is free to download - i usually use Photoshop but had to switch to GIMP recently and was very impressed.

Thanks everyone for your comments

@Gabe thank you for the advice. I will endeavor to locate a larger backdrop and look into the photo editing. I happen to be enrolled in a mandatory photography course for school, so hopefully my pictures will improve
