Aside from the flagship store set to open in Bourdeaux, France in 2015, maybe it's not too early now to speculate on where other new stores may open then? Also, is there any chance of new stores opening later or towards the end of this year which haven't been announced yet?

I'm particularly interested because I hope one opens in Ottawa, Canada (my area) in the very near future. With two new stores having opened in the Montreal area earlier this year (Carrefour Laval & Fairview Pointe-Claire), we are now the largest metro area in the country that still doesn't have one. :-\

Also, by looking through the US, there are definitely still some major metro areas there that could use a store (Pittsburgh, Tampa, New Orleans, Jacksonville just to name a few), I'm sure there are big Lego fans there like me hoping their area gets one too. :)

Any other places?

If anyone from TLG is reading, Edinburgh needs one

I just had a odd vision of a hundred performance artists taking over a Lego Store during the Edinburgh Arts Festival - I hate to imagine that they'd do with a PaB wall...

Thanks for that. :sweet:

I'd love to have at least one Lego Store in Brazil, but due to all taxes down here I know that's nearly impossible. Every set costs about three times as much! Yesterday I was checking this toy store and they had the Pet Shop going for BRL 900.00+, which is about USD 400.00+ or GBP 240.00+

The one in Danbury CT opened in April 2014, and the one in West Hartford is slated for this year too; however, it says "Coming Soon" and "May 2014" -- but I have yet to hear an exact date! I have the Grand Opening set from the Danbury one, and will gather the West Hartford one too ... once I know the date.

Canada has too few stores. Three in Toronto and none elsewhere in Southwestern Ontario. :cry_sad: TLG would make a lot of money just setting up a store here in London, Ontario.

I'd love one in Dublin but I know why that's unlikely in the near future. I'd settle for a store in Newry or Belfast for now.

A two hour drive is do-able for a visit. A two hour drive plus a four hour ferry is not...

Duq, Northern Ireland does make a lot of sense for a store being part of the UK, which is a surprise to most Americans. As you have mentioned, it takes enormous time and investment to open a new country for just a store or two.

We lucked out in Raleigh because we are on the East Coast and can be supplied from CT and East Coast warehouses. Our LEGO store does well in an area with around a million in pop. Charlotte (2.5 hrs by road from us) also has a store. NC has over 10 million people, so it can support two stores.

I admit that is is nice to be able to pop into the store and look around although I often buy nothing because what I want is already in my LEGO room.

I'm in the American Midwest and the closest store to me is in Kansas City. I'd like to see one in Omaha, Nebraska or Des Moines, Iowa. The next closest is in Minneapolis, Minnesota and Chicago.

Does Denver have one?

Speaking as a Wyomingite, I can safely say that there's more than a couple...

Yes, there's at least one official and one un-official store in Denver. The official store is in the Park Meadows Mall.

Philadelphia could use another store, as they only have one in a part of town I seldom go to. I live in MD right now and have FIVE stores within a 90 minute drive--hard to believe Philly only has one. (Though there's probably some across the river in Jersey.)
