One of many outposts in Hauta

The region of Hauta Have a very suspicious population and they are watching there borders really close, this is not a rare view in the woods of Hauta. The army of Hauta always try to be one step ahead of everybody else. It's a common saying that "if you don't see some guards in red and grey, you haven't cross the border yet", if it's true or not we left for the people to decide. Anyway here are some guards in one of many "border stations", securing the safety of Avalonia, mostly it's a boring job and for the most of the time it's al about sleep, eat and steer in to the forest but some days something happens for real, but that's not today.

You never now when something happens, watch everything.

Give the horses food and water, the same for you.

Make the time fly, before you now it, you are back in town.

That tree looks great with all the dark orange and red leaves. Also, the irregular base with all the angled plates and the rockwork are very nice .

How long are you already MOCing?

About the pictures: They are nicely in focus, but the light could be much better. You could for example try to take them outside on a cloudy day instead of using a lamp.

Great irregular base and figs. (I have to try out the irregular base soon)

That tower looks very nice and the tree too!

I'm also interested in the question from Buurli (aka Simon_S).

About the pictures: You may should look at this tutorial: http://sariel.pl/201...ssing-tutorial/ The tutorial is about lighting and clearing up the background (with a free programm) Everything is easy explained. (The English is not that hard to understand also for not native English speakers, like me)

Sweet build, you got a lot of detail here and some pretty landscaping, especially that tree. Some great photography too. I really like the design you used for the tower guardrail, very elegant. Great work!

Great to see your first moc for GoH! I really like the lightning and feeling on the first shot! The tower looks great as well as the base! The fact that the tower is so light and made of wood makes it feels like Hauta have many of these! Do Hauta have a meaning or did you came up with the name by yourself? =)

The lightning in the other pics could however be a little better...

This creation looks very good!

I really like the tree because of the beautiful reddish autumn colors.

The minifigs are also quite nice, great combos you have used there!

Really nice moc odidoma! The irregular base looks very natural, the tree has good height and the orange and red foliage looks a treat! The small wooden outpost is solidly built too. If i have a small criticism , it is that the front right of the base seems very bare - a small amount of landscaping or even a little path would do wonders to bring life to that area, or possibly you could have cut out that part of the base altogether. Anyway, great work, i look forward to seeing your future mocs! :classic:

Thanks for all the feedback, i really appreciate it! When it comes to lightning and fix the pictures before uploading it, de Gothia have learned me a lot but sometimes i´m so stressed so i skip it, i will improve over time, i hope.

I have been building Moc´s for maybe two-three years and i have posted some builds in the "Historic forum" before but never in the Goh-forum. I really like the Goh structure and it have given me new energy to build, thanks!

Very nice base and tree, I really like that color mix :classic:

A clever detail with the lidless chest for the horse as well, never thought of that!

I agree with Gabe however that the ground could have used some more detailing and with the comments that the photography has some room for improvement.

I've actually almost stopped editing out the background, with a smooth background (I use white/gray Ikea roller curtains) and good lighting it's not really needed and saves a ton of time
