Maxim I Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 (edited) This one is build long long ago (October 31st 2013) and is in fact a rebuild of a build long long long long ago. It was intented to be a part of the Raising The Dead storyline I was involved in together with Ska and Masa. But Brickmania Antwerp, a girlfriend, exams, internship, graduationpaper, ... made me disappear for a while. Anyway: enjoy! C&C ofcourse welcome! Alfadas Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Batman is one of my gladiators Haha, Batman the gladiator . I love his shield btw. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Excellent architecture and the interior is really cool, the training section especially Nice round stairs as well Quote
gedren_y Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 To understand why Batman is there, you have to look at some of his early Allenridders(sp?) threads. I invented the character Squire Rikhard "Redbird" Greisun from Mpya Stedor because of this. It is always good to see more of Damaximus' builds, even if they are just improvements on existing builds. Thomas of Tortuga Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 Batman is one of my gladiators Thanks Hilarious how easily the mind misses things it wasn't looking for. I completely missed Batman Nice work on the complex. I especially like the detail in the training rooms. Quote
-Carson Haupt- Posted May 31, 2014 Posted May 31, 2014 This really puts off the "secret base hidden on a mountain" vibe. Nice work! Quote
Maxim I Posted May 31, 2014 Author Posted May 31, 2014 Haha, Batman the gladiator . I love his shield btw. Me too it is perfect as big round shield Love that staircase! thanks Excellent architecture and the interior is really cool, the training section especially Nice round stairs as well It is in the trainingsection where the most notorious I.A.M.S.-members are trained To understand why Batman is there, you have to look at some of his early Allenridders(sp?) threads. Haha nice that you still remember where he comes from I forgot to post the original MOC, as you can see below, it was not just improving. In fact, I stripped the complete building and rebuild it from the bottom to the top Hilarious how easily the mind misses things it wasn't looking for. I completely missed Batman Nice work on the complex. I especially like the detail in the training rooms. Thanks Small inside jokes is one of the beautifull things about making MOC's. Especially when participating at big lay-outs I love putting such a jokes in the scene. Most people look over these details. But there are always people who take their time and then they start smiling when they see for example Batman or Darth Maul or Jack Sparrow in my MOC's This really puts off the "secret base hidden on a mountain" vibe. Nice work! Haha yees, that was my intention thanks! Quote
Scaevola Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 A really nice addition to Mpya Stedor. I like the domed building, especially the way the arches overlap the windows. The middle building is very interesting. I like how you incorporated the far oriental-style type of structure; it definitely fits into Kaliphlin. Quote
Gabe Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Ah, this is a great improvement on the original, much more cohesive and detailed architecture and rockwork. (though there are a couple of half-pushed down plates that niggle at me) The interiors are sweet too, love the huge training room! Your photos are much improved from the original as well. Thanks for sharing this excellent update! Quote

Thanks for sharing this excellent update! Yeah, my base is not strong enough to easily transport this MoC, that's why there are some tight gaps between bricks. Thanks for the positive feedback Gabe! Yeah, transporting mocs can be a real pain - i'm kinda glad that i don't tend to keep things together for very long. The thought of having to do all that dusting for a start! Never mind the running repairs every time you move it. UoP +1 for studs-up rocks, interior design (for that sweet assasian training room!), fortifications and mountains. Quote
Ecclesiastes Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I really like how the building are integrated into the rockwork, keep it up! Quote
Gideon Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) Many nice details and minifigs! I really like the "hidden mountain pass"-feeling of the build Keep up the good work! For the UoP, I claim these credits: "Landscaping: Studs up Rocks (claimed)" + "General: Interior design (claimed)" + "Military Science: fortifications (claimed)" + Geography: mountains (claimed)" UoP +1 for all four claims. Kai NRG Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 UoP +1 for all four claims. Nice job merging the rock and building. Quote
