Mike S Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Masa wondered what the Drow had planned for Avalonia. Luckily for him, a Drow general owed him a favor. Traveling to a rocky hill in Antyria where bright orange Zinnias grow quite abundantly, Masa finds the Drow general waiting for him in front of a newly formed cavern. He is quite surprised at what he learns. Quote

mrcp6d Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Ha ha! I was hoping somebody would use that head for Drow--it looks great! Nice combinations with the rest of that fig too. The consistency of the curved trees is really appealing as well. Quote
mccoyed Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 Beautiful work. I love the trees and like everyone else says, that's a great head for a drow. Too bad they aren't more common or varied. Quote

robuko Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Really nice composition Mike, the repeated curve motif running through it is an awesome idea. The extra stud height on the base is a nice touch too. Great scene. Quote
mccoyed Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I keep coming back to this one. Very much an inspiration to me for the kinds of small vignettes I want to be making. Quote

The extra stud height on the base is a nice touch too. Great scene. Thanks! If I had more time, I would have put curves on angles to add a more natural look. But for the time I had I feel like it turned out ok. I keep coming back to this one. Very much an inspiration to me for the kinds of small vignettes I want to be making. Thanks man! Rogue Angel Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Excellent job on this build! The shift in orientation really makes everything stand out. I especially like the trees and the boulder on the left, but all of the rockwork looks great! I also love the use of the Umbaraan for the Drow. I may have to consider this. Excellent work! Quote
