The Warsman Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Hello, I expanded my LEgo Springfield with custom minifigs of several more essential residents! The heads come from a mini-bobble head line made in the early 2000's by Tomy. There are other heads that I have not picked up yet, like Milhouse's parents, but at least I now have a Smithers, Willie and Sideshow Bob on my shelf! :) The bodies are mostly what I had on hand, although I did have to roder a few (Uter and Skinner's jacket torsos) and I know Ms. Krabapple isn't the best (I'm open to suggestions for her) Anyway, take a look and I hope you enjoy them! TheOneVeyronian Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Some very nice customs there, I'm always interested in people who do custom moulds, having tried a few myself with mixed results. Many of the heads look pretty spot-on from what I can tell (I'm not 100% convinced by the Smithers head, but the rest look really good!). I especially like Pieman since I liked that episode myself . I look forward to seeing what other custom Simpsons you can come up with in the future, keep it up Quote
RIflemanj Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Very nice! I suggest you open up a ebay store or something and sell these and mass produce them! I would definitely buy them as well as most of the other lego Simpson collectors now. Quote
Floundie Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Those actually look pretty good, just add some custom torsos and they'd look even better. Quote
Dorayaki Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Just great! These look like what the official should have done. Quote
3BrickFriends Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 The heads are an excellent match for the official Simpsons mini-figures. Love the Sideshow Bob. Quote
BobActionNews Posted September 28, 2014 Posted September 28, 2014 Can you please make A Lego Moe, Otto man, and reverend love joy please Quote
ChrisPhilpot Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 As a big fan of the Simpsons, I have to say that they are brilliant! I love the sweater on the Smithers minifig. Is that an official piece, or something you made specially? Quote
Robert8 Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 WOW! Great job! Pie Man looks like a real LEGO minifigure! Who's the guy behind Ned Flanders? Is he from a Treehouse of horror episode? I love the sweater on the Smithers minifig. Is that an official piece, or something you made specially? It's the S7 Computer Programmer torso: Quote
Borador Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 That's an interesting idea to use those bobble heads. I may look into them myself if we don't get Skinner and Willie in the next line. Excellent work. All they're missing are custom torsos. Quote
Eric The Hand Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Take my money!! Awesome work. Lovin it. Quote
