WARHEAD Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 So after I had completed the Ichigo Gundam, I kind of went into the opposite direction and made some smaller builds, using the awesome new eye print parts available in the Mixel sets. Most of these are just some fun experiments in shaping and character design, nothing too serious at all. They were pretty quick builds too, not taking me more than an hour or two to complete each. The first and most unrefined one, mostly built to use the colors and kanohi. Jheemarssun, the Lizard King. Some kind of tiny bird thing. Sir Leoraph Donmike, a turtle guard for Jheemarsun. And a worm. So yeah, these were just a fun change of pace from building robots and bigger stuff. I do have plans for some greater things however... Quote
-Horizon- Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Great Job WarHead! I like the turtle guardian. Quote
Sir Walter Maugham Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Ha, these are the sort of creations I was looking forward to the moment I saw the new Mixel eye parts. Love the cartoony look. The Lizard King in particular stands out. Really nice use of the King Mathias crown. And with some color swaps Chirpy could look just like Kazooie from Banjo-Kazooie. Great builds! Quote
Mutant Orc Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Wow!!!! These are great, really clever, nice looking builds!! They all seen to have a great sense of character about them. I like them all, but that tiny bird thing has to be one of the best!! It just looks so perfect!! Quote
Leewan Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Oh yeah, Leoraph Donmike is great. Nice MOCs, WARHEAD, very creative. Quote
Agent Fusion Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Leoraph Donmike the Turtle Warrior. Genius. They all look like creatures from Spore, and by that I mean brilliant! Quote
grum64 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 And so the next generation of Mixels was born unto the world... Terrific creations. I could see these in the shops. Take note Lego Quote
Pate-keetongu Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 These are definitely adorable and show great skill of building. Jheemarsun and his guard Sir Donmike are my favourites. Quote
