mccoyed Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Knowing there's no time to waste, Eindrin races the eggs north to the stable where he is apprenticed. His faithful steed, Kensley, is barely an adolescent chobo but still strong enough to carry Eindrin and the eggs at a dizzying speed across the snowy landscape. "Hie forward!" Eindrin shouts into the wind. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Ah awesome! Great to see a smaller Chobo! Great wagon, I might have to steal that idea! Quote
-Horizon- Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Great Build mccoyed. I really like the wagon and the young Chobo. Quote
soccerkid6 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Clever wagon design and it's really neat that you built a younger/smaller chobo Good snow drifts as well Quote
Scaevola Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Nice work with the snow, and great wagon design. Also, nice work work with the chobo as well Quote
Yzalirk Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 This looks awesome, I like the little wagon a lot. Quote
mccoyed Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Thanks everyone! I really like this build personally, and especially that first pic. One of the best Lego pics I've ever taken. Clever wagon design and it's really neat that you built a younger/smaller chobo Good snow drifts as well Just wait for Phases 2 and 3! This looks awesome, I like the little wagon a lot. The idea behind a rickshaw-type wagon is that chobos go so fast that anything bigger would stabilize their gait too much and slow them down! Quote
Mike S Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Another great build! Really like your Chobo series! Quote
kabel Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Haha mc, this whole chobo stuff is really hillarious! Quote
mccoyed Posted July 29, 2014 Author Posted July 29, 2014 Whaddya mean, Kabel? Chobos are serious, serious business. Deadly serious. Quote
MKJoshA Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Love it! Especially how seriously you are taking yourself Quote

MassEditor Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Another great addition to this series, great work again Mccoyed! The posing and design of the Chobo and wagon are very nicely done, really looks like that critter is racing forward. Great work with the snowy parts too, very effective. Quote
mccoyed Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 Thanks guys! Love it! Especially how seriously you are taking yourself Ha! Don't let their cute appearance fool you. You drop your guard and the chobo knows. Another great addition to this series, great work again Mccoyed! The posing and design of the Chobo and wagon are very nicely done, really looks like that critter is racing forward. Great work with the snowy parts too, very effective. Thanks. It was very important to me to convey a sense of speed! Quote
Gabe Posted July 31, 2014 Posted July 31, 2014 Great sense of action in this vig mccoyed! The cart design is sweet too. Quote
Maxim I Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Lord Damaximus still prefers his horse neverthless, a very cool animal!! Quote
mccoyed Posted August 1, 2014 Author Posted August 1, 2014 Thanks guys! Lord Damaximus still prefers his horse neverthless, a very cool animal!! Most Mitgardians would agree with Lord Damaximus. The chobo, especially fully grown, is a difficult animal to bond with and control. They're big as houses! Quote
TenorPenny Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Indeed, it's a clever idea well executed..! Quote
