Polo-Freak Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 (edited) This is my entry, for the Model Team Contest It is a Ford Fiesta [MK6] ST150 First i start with LDD, then build in real... Edited January 1, 2016 by Polo-Freak Quote
Doc_Brown Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Looking very sweet! I wonder why it had gone quite on EB, everyone is on LDD@!! :P Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Wow, I really like white exterior/black interior combo! Are you planning to make opening doors along the project or is that what it is? It is very recognizeable IMO. Great job so far. Quote
grum64 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Looking good. Look forward to seeing it 'in the brick' Quote
Eraman Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 It looks good , but the windscreen is taller (longer) in the real model, and the lower sections of the side windows are straight, not rising as we see your LDD model. And maybe the front bumper can be more curved if it is possible. good luck! Quote
Chapachuk Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 I dont see much similarity. It seems like Fiesta, but when u look at the details, there arent many similar. But its good work, dont get me wrong. Proportoin are very close, so if its not final version, you could do very good with some minor changes. Quote
Lakop Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 It looks good , but the windscreen is taller (longer) in the real model, and the lower sections of the side windows are straight, not rising as we see your LDD model. And maybe the front bumper can be more curved if it is possible. good luck! I agree with the above, but I think you can achieve it easily. Look forward to the completed and good luck. H Quote
BusterHaus Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 and the lower sections of the side windows are straight, not rising as we see your LDD model. The belt line on this car rises - maybe not as much as it does in the MOC, but it's not parallel to the ground like the picture would suggest. The perspective is very misleading in this case. It would help if you could compare the profile of both. Quote
BigCatBoy Posted August 17, 2014 Posted August 17, 2014 That's looking really good. I like the piece you used for the grille mesh. How about the following for the fenders: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=62360 Kind of like how the Mini set was done. They're available in white, but I think it will be trickier to make them flow into the body, such as the bumpers for this particular car... Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Wow, I love the color scheme and the Coca Cola can :-) Will you change the round tiles above the steering wheel with gauge pattern or will you leave it as it is? Quote
Jim Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Nice pictures in your entry post Really like the scene you've created! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 You are right with the white, is perfect for it . Quote
MaKaDaM Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Just saw this MOC from the Model Team challenge. I had to do my first post here as a model team AFOL guy ! This MOC is incredible and really accurate ! Good job ! You should put your LDD file somewhere :p PS : Sorry for my english, I'm from France :) Quote
wiggy14 Posted December 11, 2015 Posted December 11, 2015 That is awesome!! I'm new to this site. Is there anyway to get the guide to build this? I own an old ST150 fiesta and would love to add this to my lego collection Quote
Polo-Freak Posted January 1, 2016 Author Posted January 1, 2016 Hello i can't mail to you because 1 Post. You can buy the Lego ST150 from me Quote
wiggy14 Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I've no problem paying depending how much as you've obviously done the hard work designing it. I'd rather pay for instructions and parts list and build myself though Quote
