Jim Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Hi, Is this a list of rumored sets for 2015? If so, I will separate this info and start a new topic. Long Distance Race Car will probably utilize the new Batman tumbler wheels Quote

Jim Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 42032 - Kompakt-Raupenlader 42033 - Action Raketenauto 42034 - Action Quad 42035 - Muldenkipper 42036 - Strassenmotorrad 42037 - Formula Off-Roader 42038 - Arktis-Kettenfahrzeug 42039 - Langstrecken-Rennwagen You are missing 42038 - Arctic Tracked Vehicle Quote
efferman Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 so the 42039 endurance racecar seems to be the flagship? Quote
Jim Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 so the 42039 endurance racecar seems to be the flagship? This is probably 1H? Quote
Ondra Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Enurance racecar seems like some kind of nascar or le mans type of car and also probably supercar type of set.If there will be usage of tumbler front wheels I will be very happy. Quote
Zerobricks Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Formula offroader...tumbler wheels anyone? Quote
Conchas Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I've found also a reference to 42031 Hubarbeitsbühne, which should mean some kind of elevation platform. Quote
Jim Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I've found also a reference to 42031 Hubarbeitsbühne, which should mean some kind of elevation platform. Clever. Didn't think of extrapolating the range Interpolating is actually a better term. Quote
Cumulonimbus Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Sounds great! Based on the interval between previous Technic bikes, I was expecting a new motorbike in 2015, so I'm curious to see what the designers came up with. I also like the sound of the tracked loader, I would like to see a tracked Bobcat-like vehicle. The endurance racer, rocket car, "hubarbeitsbühne" and arctic vehicle are very promising and could be very original vehicles that haven't been designed before by TLG. I will keep my fingers crossed that at least one of these sets have the new Tumbler tires, and I am wishing for nice color schemes and maybe new parts. Quote
Wiseman_2 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 If 42039 Long Distance Race Car is indeed the 1h flagship, I wonder if it will go the route of 8070 in terms of functionality, or if they will actually put a proper gearbox in it. Some interesting sets here otherwise. I am very curious about the Arctic Tracked Vehicle. If we get another snow groomer then I'll be more than happy. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It's an interesting list, no doubt. I want to see what the Tracked Loader looks like, not to mention that Arctic vehicle! Quote
therealjustin Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 A LeMans style flagship would be great! Either an LMP or GT class with a proper gearbox please. Quote
GoldVillage Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Interesting... which ones will be small or large and which one will be the flagship? (if its even included here...) i dont think its included here, we have to wait to 2H. So whats your bet folks? 42031 - Platform = mid size set 42032 - Compact Track Loader = mini/small 42033 - Action Rocket Car = mini/small 42034 - Action Quad = mini/small 42035 - Dump Truck = large 42036 - Street Motorcycle = mid size 42037 - Formula Off-Roader = large 42038 - Arctic Tracked Vehicle = large 42039 - Long Distance Race Car = mid size Quote
rm8 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) I think that "Action" sets 42033, 42034 are pull back racers Dump truck should be a Volvo loader scale to play together:) Formula offroad could use Tumbler wheels, because they are round shaped as sand offroaders use. Edited August 28, 2014 by rm8 Quote
Freekysch Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 I can not wait to see the motorcycle and rhe dump truck. If they look good, they are going to be a must buy for me :) Quote
Mestari Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It seems like not much room for pneumatic ;( I was really looking forward to some big (or new even longer) cylinder set... Quote
rm8 Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 42039 - Long-Distance Race Cars Are you sure that this "cars" not "car"? If it contain two cars, ot could be a pull back challenge set Quote
D3K Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 Ooh, interesting! I too think the "action" sets are small pullback models. 42038 Arctic Tracked Vehicle could maybe be an articulated vehicle, sort of like the BV206? Given the last couple of years' 1H flagships, I wouldn't be surprised if the 42039 Long Distance Racecar is a rather large GT or LMP type endurance racer, hopefully with a manual transmission incorporating new gears As usual, I am most interested in what kind of new parts will be introduced, not the sets themselves Quote
Milan Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 It seems like not much room for pneumatic ;( I was really looking forward to some big (or new even longer) cylinder set... 2H sets are still to come. Quote
PhyBuilder Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Cool! Now I'm even more curious to the Actic Vehicle 42038 and the 42039. Reason? Take a good look at this list, which I created with the information out of the shoplink above (Swisstoy, a B2B Shop) 42031 - 15.7 x 14 x 0.61 cm, Ages 7-14 42032 - 26.2 x 14 x 0.48 cm, Ages 8-14 42033 - 26.2 x 14 x 0.48 cm, Ages 7-14 42034 - 28.2 x 14 x 0.61 cm, Ages 7-14 42035 - 26.2 x 19 x 0.77 cm, Ages 9-16 42036 - 35.4 x 19 x 0.70 cm, Ages 9-16 42037 - 28.2 x 26 x 0.70 cm, Ages 9-16 42038 - 48 x 28.2 x 0.74 cm, Ages 10-16 42039 - 48 x 37.8 x 0.94 cm, Ages 11-16 Because of this data, I draw the following conclusions: 42035 seems rather small and no flagship, perhaps a companion to 42006 and 42028 42038 is on my list 42039 is on my list The height of the boxsize is strange, probably because of the non-disclosure agreement. A crosscheck on some current models though, shows that the L and W are probably accurate. Ok, now the waiting starts again... . Edited August 28, 2014 by PhyBuilder Quote
Interceptor Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the additional information PhyBuilder. I also getting really excited about 42038 and 42039 which are for older aged kids. 42039 could be something like McLaren GTR from the 90s, what do you think? Maybe in rare colour like orange or yellow-green? Artic tracked vehicle also sounds really promising as a mid ranged set and this is where I can think of pneumatics... I hope first photos will leak in the near future... Edited August 28, 2014 by Interceptor Quote
GoldVillage Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 car... cars? SO, if we translate the first set... "42032 - Compact Track Loaders" loaderS? a typo - or is it actually 2 loaders? Cool! Now I'm even more curious to the Actic Vehicle 42038 and the 42039. Reason? Take a good look at this list, which I created with the information out of the shoplink above (Swisstoy, a B2B Shop) 42031 - 15.7x14x0.61 Ages 7-14 42032 - 26.2x14x0.48 Ages 8-14 42033 - 26.2x14x0.48 Ages 7-14 42034 - 28.2x14x0.61 Ages 7-14 42035 - 26.2x19x0.77 Ages 9-16 42036 - 35.4x19x0.70 Ages 9-16 42037 - 28.2x26x0.70 Ages 9-16 42038 - 48x28.2x0.74 Ages 10-16 42039 - 48x37.8x0.94 Ages 11-16 Because of this data, I draw the following conclusions: 42035 seems rather small and no flagship, perhaps a companion to 42006 and 42028 42038 is on my list 42039 is on my list The height of the boxsize is strange, probably because of the non-disclosure agreement. A crosscheck on some current models though, shows that the L and W are probably accurate. Ok, now the waiting starts again... . Wow! ty alot for this info ;) so it seems like 31 is a MINI set, 32-37 pretty much small to medium, and 38-39 seems to be very big sets... could these two be 2H sets? it seems unlikely that they will release 9(!) sets the first half of 2015. 42039 might be the flagship, judging from box size... PhyBuilder Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 All issues of plurals in this topic until now are just translation errors. I checked the genuine German text and it's singular. Quote
