hachiroku Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 From my last moc http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=99059 Two months of the summer, but it's finished! Quote
Godtshep Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) Fantastic! It's like the 2011 set with the detail of the UCS set. Edited August 31, 2014 by Godtshep Quote
grum64 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 (edited) Beautiful! Love all the extra details, no wonder it took you two months. Well done, it's a great build Edited August 31, 2014 by grum64 Quote
GuyDudeMan27 Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Awesome job! All of the snot and angled plates are awesome! This thing looks so perfect! How big is it compared to an X-Wing? Quote
hachiroku Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Thanks eevryone! Awesome job! All of the snot and angled plates are awesome! This thing looks so perfect! How big is it compared to an X-Wing? Here's a comparison with the 9493: Quote
Anio Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 It does look very good ! You worked with an interesting scale. :) 2 things that can be improved IMO : - on the sides, the wings with tubes outside - the brick-built cockpit. I think the final result is weird, especially compared to the rest of the ship made out of plates. Quote

It's different and I think this works better than one built with plates. I built one once, I didn't like it: Quote
Jakura Nuva Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful! Excellent job, though I do prefer your other cockpit design. Quote
Lobot Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Hi hachiroku, you've obviously put a lot of time and effort into it, and it's a vast improvement on the current system-scale version However, I agree with Anio; the cockpit does look a bit odd compared with the rest of the model. Have you tried using something like the curved 50950 parts, or alternatively replicating the style of the UCS one? Personally I think that the edges of the docking rings should be the correct way up as well, but that's just me! Quote
hachiroku Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Do you prefer one like the UCS or the other I built? I think the new one is very similar to the real one, maybe it's the photos or something, I don't know. The cockpit is not curved, it's a cone. Quote
Smitty500 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I think your cockpit is really neat. But in comparison with the rest of the ship, it looks a bit blocky/square. I think your plate built one works better with it, but I completely understand some issues you would have with it, and its your artistic touch. Quote
Manx Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 It's nice to see whole sheep ;). Very nice, great greebling and all other details. Quote
markus1984 Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 A little bit too small in comparison to an X-Wing but the work on the MF is absolut fantastic! Nice details and a very good building technique! markus Quote
