Beautiful! Love all the extra details, no wonder it took you two months. Well done, it's a great build

Thanks eevryone!

Awesome job! All of the snot and angled plates are awesome! This thing looks so perfect! How big is it compared to an X-Wing?

Here's a comparison with the 9493:

It does look very good !

You worked with an interesting scale. :)

2 things that can be improved IMO :

- on the sides, the wings with tubes outside

- the brick-built cockpit. I think the final result is weird, especially compared to the rest of the ship made out of plates.

What do you mean?

I like the brick-built cockpit. It's different and I think this works better than one built with plates.

I built one once, I didn't like it:

Hi hachiroku, you've obviously put a lot of time and effort into it, and it's a vast improvement on the current system-scale version

However, I agree with Anio; the cockpit does look a bit odd compared with the rest of the model. Have you tried using something like the curved 50950 parts, or alternatively replicating the style of the UCS one? Personally I think that the edges of the docking rings should be the correct way up as well, but that's just me!

Do you prefer one like the UCS or the other I built?

I think the new one is very similar to the real one, maybe it's the photos or something, I don't know.

The cockpit is not curved, it's a cone.

I think your cockpit is really neat. But in comparison with the rest of the ship, it looks a bit blocky/square. I think your plate built one works better with it, but I completely understand some issues you would have with it, and its your artistic touch.
