Ninja Nin Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 (edited) [soNE Ep. VI] Part 1. Fondor : The Hunt from Both Sides Before I can reunite with the Alliance, before I can tell the story of how I resurrected and became flesh was rescued from Sullust, I must focus on my first mission, assigned by the Secret SpecForce General: to track down Boba Fett in order to recover Captain Solo. Now I have reached Fondor, the shipyard where Boba got his refuel after his departure from Cloud City. At the outskirt of this industrial city, I encountered a group of three strange stormtroopers with an assassin droid. So I approached them to overhear their conversation. Steel Tiger (Rank: Stormtrooper 0 XP) Despite his inactivity among his SoNE Builders troopers, he represents the worst of the worst side of the Empire. He is notable for his corrupt, excessively violence, obsessive with tiger war paint and metallic armor. ============================== Steel Tiger : Alright, good to have the three of you in our team. We know that Vader guy let Boba have the trophy, a huge bounty of Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, and now he wanted us to deliver him a thank you card. That’s poodoo! I say, we kill Boba, take back Solo, return it to Jabba and be rich! HA HA ! IG-88D here tracked down Boba to Fondor. He will help us to damage Boba as much as he can, then Boba will be forced to return to one of his hideouts before reaching Tatooine. I know his hideout locations. There, we can ambush him. ============================== It seems they are well-organized, not in the Empire manner but in a criminal way. I must act quickly before they reach Boba. Fondor shipyard vignette, inspired by the game Empire at War. [To be continued ……] Edited September 2, 2014 by Ninja Nin Quote
Yzalirk Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Nice vignette but I don't understand why the Stormtrooper is wearing that gray armor. Quote
goatman461 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Nice to see some of the (older?) Rebels back in the game. And it appears we've got a coordinated attack on Fondor. Quote
Aland1916 Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I am not familiar with game but this is really good work. Great build! Quote
MKJoshA Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 Nicely done! I love that you are referencing Empire At War. It's probably the only place outside of the books that people would recognize the planet from. Good to have you back! Quote
Wat Tambor Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Wow that's a great entry for the Rebellion and it's also great to see that you are back building for this episode. I like your new character, that flesh colors looks so much better than the yellow minifig colors. Quote
Ninja Nin Posted September 4, 2014 Author Posted September 4, 2014 Very nice build Ninja Nin! I am not familiar with game but this is really good work. Great build! Great entry, fascinating MOC! Nicely done! I love that you are referencing Empire At War. It's probably the only place outside of the books that people would recognize the planet from. Good to have you back! Thank you guys ! Wow that's a great entry for the Rebellion and it's also great to see that you are back building for this episode. I like your new character, that flesh colors looks so much better than the yellow minifig colors. Seeing most builders are using flesh instead of the yellow minifigs tone by the staff, I decided to make the change. Nice vignette but I don't understand why the Stormtrooper is wearing that gray armor. Because your trooper armor is too fragile. He will be mentioned in the coming part of the story. Nice to see some of the (older?) Rebels back in the game. And it appears we've got a coordinated attack on Fondor. We are Rebels ! We attack at the right time at the right place ! Quote
Pointblank Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Always liked Ninja Nin's take on an entry, always have that little bit uniqueness about them to give that special edge, that creates a tremendous amount of suspense amidst a great colourful and very deliberate build. This one is no different and is great! Quote
Jacob Nion Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 That is a great entry. Your way of building industrial facilities is awesome. And of course the story is thrilling. Quote
