  1. The interior is very impressive, especially considering the ladders and stairs as well as the offsets between floors. The pillars of trans-clear studs detract from it, though - would it still stand without them? If not, even stone columns would look better in my opinion. Those would probably be thicker and get in the way of a whole-tower picture like the one you included, but the rooms could be seen pretty well from the sides, I think.
  2. The rockwork is excellent! I hope you post this on MOCpages, too - a model like this deserves a large audience.
  3. Beautiful harbor! Now I want to know what's on the ship.
  4. The finished model looks great, especially the greebled lower floor. I didn't know you were planning a thatch roof, but I have to say it was a good decision. The rest of the scene looks pretty good, too, but I didn't get a good view of the burnt-down house.
  5. I can't wait to join that guild when it opens! All of the Valyrion builds to date look like a lot of fun, including this one. I could set all of mine in Illyria without a problem. Anyone else planning to switch?
  6. This means that all the Assassin's Creed customizers can finally stop painting their parts! Another blow is struck for purism. What I would like are more capes and rubber bands. Those are my bread and butter for minifig customizing.
  7. This is a brilliant build (in more ways than one)! The burnt-orange bands look great.
  8. I was looking at the landscape in the first few pictures, but I had a ”Wow” moment when I got to the part without figs.
  9. I'm going to have to try an overhang like that! Great build!
  10. I like that the wall is both curved and greebled - it certainly beats the normal 1x3-and-cylinder technique. The campfire also looks better than most - that circle base was a good idea. The one problem I have with this build is the landscaping - I feel like the convex curves don't look right without some sort of concave transition back to level ground.
  11. It's only being judged for freebuild points, right? This isn't my Category B entry to the challenge, it's my second task for joining Avalonia combined with a freebuild. I wouldn't have thought that my minifigures would make a difference in that case.
  12. Too late - the barn was taken apart before I started my GNAR entry. I'm behind on my posting. Also, I wanted to show only Lego in the scenes with story to them, but I see your point. Thanks for the praise.
