Hi! I would like to present you my entry for the winter village contest. This is just on ordinary Christmas stand - it offers mulled wine, bread, fruits, beer, pretzels and all kinds of "Christmas food". I tried to build it as close as possible to the style of the sets produced by LEGO, although I think the booth is slightly larger in scale. Here you can see more pics. -obelix-, I think it's not that Serbia is not in the EU, i think that the problem comes from the fact that we're just in Eastern Europe. Although Bulgaria is a EU member since 2007, the price of almost everything is higher than in Western Europe - electronics, toys, clothes, etc. For instance Mircwood Elf Army here is 70$. And having in mind that the average wage in Bulgaria is so low (about 550$ a month), the lego prices are completely unacceptable.

Thank you for all the positive comments! In developing the project I focused mainly on creating minifgures that would be faithful to the historical time of the event. The builing in the background is only a facade with the sole purpose of completing the scene. The central elements are the minifigures and the stake, the building is just a backdrop for the action. Here you can see the whole building.

I created this MOC for a contest organised by a Bulgarian Lego forum for recreating a historical event. The project I'd like to present to you is a scene from the early 17th century and depicts Giordano Bruno's burning at the stake. His execution is now seen as a symbol of the brutality with which the Inquisition dealt with the great minds of the Middle Ages and the obscurantism of the times. This happens to be not only my first MOC here, but also my first post! So I want to say "Hi" to everyone. Hope you like the MOC! :)
