Just a quick heads up, I was in Argos today and they had inserted a new page into the store catalogue, it head the POP sets mentioned previously and a splash stating the Minifig Collection would be available from 1st May @ £1.99 per fig.

I do have to say your reviews are some of my favourite on the site and have had me scouring ebay for some of the more unusual clones. Whilst there are obvious issues with some of the clones in regards to quality, some of the designs and themes are pretty cool. Keep up the good work.
  6. Just had confirmation from another forum that there is Pick a Brick based on weight @ £5 100g but choice was limited but bit is school holidays. Also they have build a minifig @ £1.50.

Thanks for the welcome and comments. I am going to go for a hunt in my mums garage for mine and my brothers lego at the weekend hopefully and see if I still have the skills.

Hello Everyone I stumbled upon Eurobrick a few weeks ago when researching the feasibility of building a Technics based RC Car. Since then I have spent many hours each day reading through post after post and just being stunned by the work done by all of you. I now really have the Lego bug again and really want to try it all. I have ordered a few mini figs to do some Brick Ficks and have ordered some Technics to start the car, but am now finding my self eyeing up all sorts of big lots on ebay of just general Bricks for me to let my creativity go wild Patiently waiting for payday. Jon
  9. Thanks for that Cagri, I am not in a rush just worried that I was missing something really. I love eBay but can see straight away that buying specifics on Bricklist will be far more productive and economical.
  10. As if by magic I recieved the invoice 2 mins after my last post.
  11. No problem just used to the instantness of Ebay. One thing I never considered is the lot/item/price ratio, what is considered acceptable or does it vary by seller?
  12. I ordered a few bits of Technics on Bricklink on very early on Monday and have yet to here from the seller about paying via Paypal. I have sent them an email but no reply to that. They have been logging in today according to Bricklink. What is the protocol? shave I leave it another day? Thanks
  13. My Sister in Law is going next week and has strict instructions to look for it, so I will report back.
  14. Good Evening Everyone I have a been planning over the last few weeks a Lego Technics RC Car using the Power Functions and maybe a few custom parts. I will be starting from scratch so need to get a shopping list together and get on Brick Link. I have never been a serious builder and have not used Lego for about 12 years, I am now 28 so everything will need to be bought. ?The Lego Discovery Centre Manchester has just opened 10 miles from me and once the ridiculous queues of the school holidays have gone I may take a trip. Does the shop have a Pick a Brick? and if so do they do Technic parts? Thanks all
