I had some pictures of the Lele goblin king bigfig on flickr but got rid of them. I wasn't that impressed - the moulding was very poorly joined - big gaps. It's not up to scratch to the Decool or SY IMHO.

I had a batgirl head that wont come out of its cowl. SY I think

Had one no show order from an AE seller but got a refund so it was all good in the end. Had one "subbed" ninja turtle set which was terrible (not the brand it was advertised as), an upside down printed nick fury head (he looks furious!) which I've grown to love and that's all for about 15 orders.

Is it me or is 75090 Ezra speeder with Sabine a major let down? No helmet for Sabine? Megablocks! The only main character figure they've not done and they release it later and it's rubbish. Sigh.

If it's a choice between real lego and clone brands I go real lego. Heck I throw non lego blocks out when I find them in my collection. But when my four year old son started regularly dismantling five to fifteen dollar minifgs and losing the parts... well I got flexible. I want him to love lego like I did and I don't want to micro manage him or restrict his lego access. Plus I love his weird megablocks lego men. I suspect most people here strongly support Lego, Marvel and DC. Over their life they have likely spent crazy money on legitimate comics, movies, games and toys. I have. So I don't feel bad about getting the odd bootleg figure especially if lego has not made it yet or they make it impossible to reasonably acquire (SDCC). They all still have my custom. I'm not making money out of the figures. Not saving money either. Technically it's not legal but it's a hobby. Megablocks is a swear word?! Chuckle. You megablocking megablocker. Yeah that sounds good.

according to brickepedia the official lego is as follows: Bizarro has Mutt Williams's hairpiece in black and a double sided white head with sunken eyes and cheeks, showing an angry expression on one side and sad on the other side. He has a purple cape and a sand blue torso which has muscular printing, along with a reversed purple S logo against yellow and a rock made sign saying "Bizarro #1" over it, and a yellow belt. His hands are white, arms and legs are sand blue with purple hips. I ordered my SY superman bizarro set off AE but have not got him yet. :( It does look normal blue though. Maybe it is lighter. If sand blue... hmmm need to get some sand blue lego legs then too.

A wig is out but The Thing wears a hat sometimes to inconspicuoulsy blend in. Actually maybe this isn't The Thing. The disguise is so insanely good it makes it hard to tell. Funny, I never knew it but I always kinda wanted the Hugh Heffner verison of The Thing. Strangely innapropriate. But SDCC will have one for sure. In fact he'd be great for mocking... maybe some kind of Noir scene with big fig Marv from Sin City. Anyways you get the drift... Sheng Yuan, Decool, if you are following this thread 1 vote for the brown bathrobe, wayfarer shades and stetson hat wearing "Legends" version of The Thing. Yeah. A set of thugs, sidekicks and cronies - aim, hydra etc would be cool. Heroes need lots of baddies to beat up. I feel like I'm shipping. But this isn't a shipping thread. Honestly I think they may be watching. or there is a serious lego fan helping them.

It's the lego marvel game faces. Comparisons were being made to the silver surfer. I think a lot of the bootleggers and customisers use some of these for inspiration.

I messaged eBay seller Hanamana (the eBay seller not muppet song) reckons he'll have gotg in a few days. Same guy who is selling the SY FF sets on eBay... Only one I've seen in China at least. I've bought a bunch off him before. He said a couple of days for the SY FF as well and that took about a week. So maybe a week for gotg - but watch his site. This is pretty nifty. A minifig scale version of this is over a metre long... huge!

The only brands I would recomend are Sheng Yuan and Decool. They are generally very good quality (still some quality control issues - but for the price acceptable - I have a head printed upside down with Decool). The moulds are not the same as lego (noticably SY arms, Decool hips - when the figure is disassembled ). I got some Lele bigfigs and castle figs - very good to pretty average . But there are much worse. I ended up with some TMNT that I thought were Decool but aren't - woeful. Que sera sera. If Digger318 or someone else hasnt reviewed positiveIy I would not bother.
