Thanks phamas. I'm tempted to get the SY Spider-Man set and swap out the legs and maybe the arms. There aren't that many printed legs. The torsos and heads are cool. Carnage and Amazing Spider-Man might do just red and blue. I think they'll make decent kids prezzies as noted. I ended up with some utterly terrible TMNT figures but the kids absolutely love em.

Spoke to one of my fave eBay vendor - new SY FF should be available in a couple of days. Yay to GOTG and Bigfig venom.

PM your fave sellers and see if they have a new set. They are more likely to stick it... But then they will be on eBay regardless.

Search on EBay for "building" keyword in the "toys and hobbies" category with your search country set for China under the advanced settings - go by ending date. Throw in another key word - batman or 4, 6 or 8 (the number of sets / figures in the release) or 4pcs, 6pcs etc or minifig ... to narrow it down. Change if nothing comes up. Look at the pictures carefully. Can't believe it but I think I just bought a bootleg Decool -i.e. a cheaper knockoff ofthe cheap knock off by Decool - the TMNT series 1 6pc minifig. I'm usually really thorough with vetting my bootlegs but this one looks identical - same rubbish stickers and all - but the plastic is worse and the legs and hips are not Decool. It's rather funny. Saw Plants Vs Zombie Lele set... why oh why did they not go with proper dark grey skin tone lego Zombies? Sigh. Idiots. Keen to get the ZEA Batman. Will hold out for it to come out on Ebay though. Digger318's review of it looks good but I am only interested in the figs not the lego. I want to keep bootleg and real lego seperate. Ordered the Chima series 3 for my kids off Aliexpress. Hope it's good - nice heads / modified heads and torsos there. For Punisher (and dark Pheonix) that guy I recomended in previous posts is good IMHO. I think I linked it.

Has anyone seen the Lele Green Goblin bigfig? I have the proper lego one but this looks interesting. The Lele Goblin King was pretty bad. I expect this one might be terrible too. Any reviews?

My local cheap Asian mart has random Lele, Sheng Yuan and rubbish brands of bootleg minifig boxes. You can buy them singly. Might check out box hill chinatown for some kicks and see what they have as I often don't want an entire run. It would be good to get just what I want. It was $2.2 a figure (Australian). Tried to educate the store lady to get Sheng Yuan brand. But they just get what they get - I think she thought I was nuts. Grabbed the penguin. He has little legs which are articulated in three peices like the big lego legs. I found myself preferring them much more to the static little lego legs. Tongue twister. This is the penguin from the batman set that Robianco refers too. Very cool. I already had the batgirl from that set. She's nice but her hair is disappointing and it's stuck on her head. :( decool batgirl hair / mask is better from memory. But the body of the SY is better. So mix and match.

eBay auctions tend to be the best prices for this stuff. Got a Lele goblin king bootleg big fig - pics on flickr. It's shiny, a bit rough and joints are not well sealed - there are gaps. Not the worst but not anything to rave about either. Maybe worth it for parts in the long term. Face print is decent but I have nothing to compare too. Probably not the best. I'm going to use some of the bootleg minifigs as the base for some custom work I think. I don't mind taking brasso to them at all.

Ordered the SY superman set with the weird legs. Does anyone know what colour the Sheng Yuan Bizarro torso is as I hate the older SY legs and was keen to replace them with proper lego legs matching the SY. I note on lego.wikia.com/wiki/Bizarro he has Purple hips and medium blue legs for the SDCC version. Anyone know if it is the same for the rip off? Nothing to be done about the superman movie minifigs. Black legs.

Saw the league of legends stuff on eBay. Hanmein has them. So far I've got everything I ordered from him pretty quick in Oz. Cheaper than aliexpress as well. Who makes this league - the parts look cool. Hurry up Digger with a review ;) Thanks for the heads up on Bozhi Skywanker about incompatibilities - will pass. Really dug those hair pieces though. Got my SY hulk buster - it's pretty sweet.
