i have had very good experience with lego products for years now. i had read about quality issues with the change in their manufacturing process. i had even seen some of the pictures of defective parts on brickshelf.com.
however, i never believed it would happen to me. first of all, i was missing parts (1x1 curved slope and the 2 "bombs") in my new y-wing set. that was a bummer. then, my republic cruiser had the wrong qui-gon head. then, my ucs millennium falcon came with a misprinted sticker. all in the month of december. i have multiple copies of lego sets that i are in storage. i am wondering if i need to open up every box and put together the sets to see if anything is missing.
i hope the quality in lego improves.
