  1. I remain skeptical, considering they confused Unikitty for My Little Pony. The movie will be awesome regardless, I'm sure.
  2. Yeah, doing a Lego line based off Top Gear does seem like a bit of a no-brainer: I guess we'll see.
  3. Sprocket replied to jokerjester's post in a topic in LEGO Licensed
Whoa: props for thinking outside the box!
  4. It's a pun, geddit? I just hope the movie sets don't push the cartoon sets out of circulation: I'm a huge fan of the show, and I'm loving the sets.
  5. Whoa, they're doing Simpsons Lego products? Color me pleasantly surprised. Finally, we'll be able to own our own little Springfield, and the figures will be more pose-able than the old Playmates figures! :D I wouldn't say no to a sound chip in the playset though: half the greatness of the Simpsons will always be it's hilarious quotes, something that Playmates realized right off the bat. We'll see, I guess!
  6. If it's Bucky Cap I will bust. a. gut. Swear to God.
  7. I doubt it, personally: it just wouldn't be very smart to invest in it without media to back it up. But that's just my opinion.
  8. So Lego posted a bunch of 'meet the characters' clips on their YouTube. Be warned, there's spoilers, like what exactly Metalbeard is. Still, I couldn't resist posting President Business' clip: as if we haven't gotten enough fan-service, he's the president of How cool is that?
  9. Thanks guys! You seem like a nice bunch, so I think I'll enjoy it here. I'm just curious by the way, is there any discussion for The Lego Movie? Because the closest thing I found was a thread for the Lego Movie toyline. I'm just curious. If we're sticking to toy discussion, that's fine by me: that's the whole point of Lego after all!
  10. Ahoy, Big LEGO fan as a kid, trying to get back into it. Go easy on me, as I'm a bit of a newbie to this whole thing.
  11. I gotta say, I was convinced Ninjago had fallen victim to being replaced by Chima, but clearly the old unwritten rule that 'you can't have a LEGO theme similar to a lincensed one' doesn't seem to really apply any more, considering they're letting space themed sets run in conjunction with Star Wars again. Which is fine by me.
  12. Given the entire point of LEGO is building, I'd think it safe to say that any alternative designs would only be achieved through a total re-build. I could be wrong, of course. Personally, I'm digging this, but then, I've been a fan of Phil Lord and Chris Miller since Clone High premiered over 10 years ago. My expectations for the movie itself are high, and I find it hard to believe that my hopes will be dashed.
