  1. Beautifully done - the irregular base and tree are fantastic, and the theme is great! The only thing I would suggest is to change the dark bley round plates to trans-black/brown pieces if possible, since obsidian is generally translucent black volcanic glass. Just a thought ...
  2. Or used for a piece of apple/cherry/whatever fruit pie, maybe?
  3. It is BL# 35484pb01, from set #76100 Royal Talon Fighter - the Erik Killmonger minifig. Great usage, and cool scene!
  4. As @M_slug357 and @bogiemansaid, I love the idea of shorter sections of larger-radius curved track and/or R56 or R72 switches, IF they will fit into the geometry of Lego track. Another thought is yard ladders, which again have to fit into the geometry, i.e. keeping 8 studs between tracks, etc.

I was looking for custom capes this morning, and found one that might be similar if not exactly what you're looking for - CapeMadness. He cannot sell his customs on BrickLink any more, but check there to see some of his work; new website is capemadness.com, I believe. Not much there yet, but maybe contact him to see if these are indeed his work? Hope this helps!
  6. I second @LegoTrainDude9231's plea for R56 switches please? Also I would like magnets/housings including replacement parts for #73092 and #2920 (or even #2607) on BL, because making multiple train cars can become rather expensive. Just my thoughts ...
  7. My (non-train) Lego wife converted my Metroliner for me ... then I did a bit of optimizing to make it less noticeable. The PF train motor replaced the 9V one and the PF battery box went behind the engineer's seat. The rearmost windows came out, so as to put the IR receiver near the top rear of the locomotive (I never understood putting a partial dining car into the loco anyway). Just my two cents!

Thank you gentlemen - I really like the train, 9V rails, and ballast - well done!

Beautifully done Duq - looks fantastic!
  10. I really liked the 2009 Farm subtheme of City - I think I got all the sets from it! It had vehicles (obviously), a few structures, baseplates (though a brown one would have been awesome for plowing/planting crops) ... I could go on and on. Great starting point to modify or MOC your own farm - only structure missing was a farmhouse, in my opinion. Just my 2 cents!
  11. I can't find one at the moment, but the larger ones (46203*) are weighted so that they could glide down the various terrains that one could build in the Gravity Games sets in which they came. So my thought is that the underside has no tubes to receive studs. I cannot remember whether the studs are filled or not, but none of the BL pictures have hollow studs, so I would assume not. If I can find one, I'll update this post with any info I come up with. Hope this helps?
  12. Depending on how thick you want the stripes to be, there is something called chart tape that ranges in width from 1/16" (about 1.5mm) and upwards. It comes in several different colors including white, and is removable if you want to do so. I hope this may help you in finding a solution to your dilemma. For what it's worth, I rather like the way your windows (and the rest of the house) have turned out thus far. Nicely done!
  13. Regarding @legotownlinz 's comment, I think TLG may wish they'd put out a 400+ piece Modular this year, because it would be selling like hotcakes given the current situation in the world! Instead, they are using a few of their production lines to make face-shields for medical workers during these trying times, for which they are to be commended. But I do hope they get their backorder & temporarily-out-of-stock sets back online at some point, since many of their stores aren't open just yet and I'm sure some of those sets are sitting in those dark storerooms, all alone with no one to build them ... so sad
  14. I got Darth Vader's Castle & the Death Star II promo during May the Fourth weekend, and my wonderful wife got me the Sith TIE Fighter then, so she could have a copy of the promo too!

Voted for it, though it was difficult to choose - being a former music educator & musician, I liked all the top nine entries for various reasons. But I've always been a sucker for a great modular ...
