  1. I don't know about other sets, but I went down today to Toyworld in Balcatta (Perth) and the collectible figs were already 3 for $10. Bargain :) Couldn't help myself but snap up another big bunch. My zombie horde is growing....
  2. Thanks jonwil, I'll take a drive up tonight. Need some zombies and cheerleaders :)
  3. Any Perthites see the minifigs north of the river? I checked Whitfords (Big W & Target), Kingsway, Warwick, but none of them have any. I checked Joondalup last week, and also nothing. I might have to drive south to get some tonight :)
  4. Gah, this is not fair... I want them all. Not to mention series 1.
  5. Thanks for that review, and the nice pix! That looks like a great set - I've been looking for an excuse to get into Lego train sets... this might push me over the edge
  6. Great to hear about the Target sale, cheaper Lego is the most awesome Lego :) Unfortunately I find (at least around north of the river in Perth) most stores prices are quite a bit higher than regular prices at Big W. During the last 20% sale I found some sets that were actually cheaper in Big W :/ Am I just going to the wrong Targets?
  7. Well done, that camouflage is excellent!
  8. Perth :)
  9. I'm sure we will get gouged on the price in Australia, but I'll definitely pick this up. Maybe two if they are not at a super crazy price... the Wampa is too cool.
  10. Thanks all! I've ordered some parts for the other band members, so let's see what happens :)
  11. The Snowtrooper, just so many nice details, and also Kit Fisto.
  12. Thanks everyone :) This forum has already made me spend a fortune on Bricklink, haha.
  13. My super patient and awesome girlfriend and I are both very much into metal music, and since she also plays drums, I figured what's better as a first MOC since getting back into Lego than a drummer diorama :) Had to include all the staples, including flames & bats. I'm rather happy with it, and will probably extend it further with a full band.

Hi all, I've been lurking on the forums for quite a while and finally decided to join :) I had Lego when I was little and always loved it, and a few years ago started collecting the Star Wars UCS sets, and the Technics versions. I didn't do much with them besides building and displaying, but recently I've jumped back into the hobby at full speed, and collecting a variety of sets - whatever looks fun. Star Wars is still my favourite though. I have a rather large trooper army, will post photos sometime :) Also working on a Hoth diorama at the moment, might do a work in progress if anyone is interested. Cheers all for a great forum
