  1. I've been having some trouble with a lot of these since I an fairly new to Eurobricks and only check certain parts of it, but I knew exactly where this one was!

These are great! I think Ham's car should have been a mini Corvette, like the one in Toy Story 2.
  3. After searching my brain for all the fruit related puns I could think of I finally had to go with the Big Apple.
  4. The Pizza Planet Truck has been in every Pixar movie (Except the Incredibles ). The set itself is mainly based of a scene in Toy Story 2.
  5. I think it would be really cool if Lego did a historic theme. It would also be a chance for Lego to help get kids interested in history. A Greek or Roman theme would provide a good mix of army and architecture, both of which are already done well by TLG. I think it would sell pretty well.
  6. Children of the Force: I didn't really like that episode because it went by way too fast. I felt like I was watching a 20 minute summery of what happened instead of the full story. It would have been a lot better if it was a two-part episode. The idea behind the story was great, but the finished product was disappointing. Senate Spy: I was a little disappointed with this episode because yet another great idea has gone to waste. The story wasn't all that bad but it could have been so much better. I think that is important to have these political themed episodes because it actually is helping the story instead of just showing off all the explosions and gunfire that the little kids want to see. However, this episode yet again tried to get Padme into the action which always seems to end up making the episode lame . I hope there is another episode like this that actually gets into some real political intrigue.
  7. That's so cool! I just read about this on Wikipedia. I wonder if he is a Lego fan...
  8. Wow! That is so cool! I love the wolf-men and improvised rebel helmets. I also like the dome roof too.
  9. Why? I love silver weapons! What color do you want them to be?
  10. I actually like most of the new molds. Some might look a little cartoony but that is because they are based off of characters from the Clone Wars. Also I like the new color schemes. If you look at the real Slave 1 it has a reddish brown which looks a lot like dark red TLG used. Besides, it gives us builders a chance to get some pieces in rare colors. I do have to agree with you about the prices and the remakes. I think that there are sets that should be remade but now Lego almost has more remakes than new sets! I understand that soon TLG will run out of ships from the 6 Star Wars movies but there are new ships appearing in the Clone Wars that they can use. Also, who says they just have to make only models of ships? They can make sets of locations, like the Senate building where Yoda and Palpatine duel, the place where Darth Maul and Qui-Gon fight, or even the Emperor's throne room.
  11. Wow! Great entry! I especially like the little lava droid.

Here is my humble entry to the Epic Scenes contest: Havoc on Hoth! If you are unfarmiliar with the battle of Hoth then you can watch these videos I knew right away that I wanted to do a Hoth scene since it is the 30th aniversery of The Empire Strikes Back but I knew that there would be many other Hoth-based entries. I tried to make mine different by putting a more artistic feel to the vig instead of just having some minifigs shooting each other on a baseplate. I tried to take all of the major aspects of the battle of Hoth and put them in a Vignette. By the way the grey baseplate isn't part of the model. It was in the rules that if your entry uses SNOT then you have to put it on a baseplate. This part of the Vignette represents the battle from the Rebel's trenches. I also have an AT-AT with Luke dangling from it. The AT-AT was meant to be a fun looking support beam for the upper level of the Vignette, then I added the greebles in later and thought that since I had the underside of an AT-AT I should include Luke. I improvised a lot on these minifigs and I'm sorry. I simply don't own most of the figs I needed for this. Also in this picture you can catch a glimpse of my mini snowspeeder. If you follow the link at the bottom of the post you can see more pictures of it along with many others. This is one of my favorite parts of the Vignette: The AT-AT head. In front of it is the remains of the Imiperial Probe Droid, the droid that started the battle. Also if you look toward the bottom you can see a microscale sheild generator being blown up. Here is the control room in Echo Base after the Snowtroopers broke in. Again I am forced to improvise the minifigs since I don't own any of the Hoth rebels. Also you can see the Bacta tank toward the back. This is supposed to be one of the many hallways in Echo Base that the characters are seen running through. I kind of like my improvised Han Solo. You can also see toward the back that he is running from Darth Vader ! Thanks for reading and good luck to all Epic Scenes contestants! Also plese visit this link to see more pictures of my entry: More Pictures!!!!!

This is a very well done MOC. I have always liked dios/vigs but normally when a vehicle gets put in one it becomes the center of the dio. I don't like that because people who do that are basically making a vehicle, putting it on a baseplate with some foliage, and calling it a dio. Your MOC however is excellent because we obviously see a well done vehicle but it doesn't defeat the purpose of a dio: to show us a scene. But what's with your minifigs? Do you have to rub it in that you got collectible minifigs and I didn't?
  14. Wow, I really like those plants!!!
  15. Now presenting the Persian Versian of the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid: The Persian Armored Charriot!!! Here is the brickset link to the Corporate Alliance Tank Droid It was really challenging to build because I don't have any Prince of Persia sets or minifigs. I tried my best to replicate the functions of the original set, like the catapult and the flick-fire missiles. I was definately trying to make something out of the ordinary and I think I succeed. I knew from the beginning that I wanted to make a Persian Version of a Star Wars set. Hopefully by the end of this contest I will have a Prince of Persia set
