Blood Hyena
Thanks Lisa, and thanks for the invitation to come hang out over here on Eurobricks. According to my member number though, I should be welcoming you! I do plan on making more of these beast machines, I'm thinking about six legged rhinos, dinos, and winged lions, so many options!

Starfighter Instructions
Here's a set of instructions for building a "Titan" starfighter. I've been playing around with the idea of making instructions, and am looking for suggestions to improve the process. If you happen to build one of these, take the time to leave notes on my flickr pages on any steps that are unclear or redundant. I hope to see some of these flying on my internet pages some time soon! -Mike Yoder flickr Brickshelf

Fharusi Ornithopter
Hello all! Although I don't post here often, my latest creation came together so well, I just had to share it! Although technically not an ornithopter, this VTOL attack craft is used by the Fharusi, a desert nomadic tribe, to patrol and protect their portable base-camp. It's built to handle the harsh desert climate, and is relatively simple to maintain. Brickshelf Gallery I built the minifig first, and I liked him so much, I had to build a ship for him to pilot! Please let me know what you think. -Mike

Keep on Truckin
V-LC-1C Gallery Hey everyone! Here is a town build of mine, an 8-wide big rig ready to tear up the open road! I still need to build something to go on the flatbed trailer, so another photo session is eventual. -Mike

Military Humvee
Wow! I'm glad to see that this old topic still has some miles left! Thanks Hinckley for reviving it, and me from obscurity. As for Eurobricks, no one scared me off, but I am active on several other boards, as well as flickr, and there are only so many hours in the day to bumble around on the internet. If you are on flickr, add me, and I'll return the favor! If there is interest, I certainly could post more of my creations here, but several have been linked to in this thread. When I built this Humvee, there was quite a bit of interest on MOCpages, including multiple requests for instructions, but I didn't have the time or inclination to make them at the time. When I redesigned it, I made instructions, as you already discovered. As to why the old version is in my space folder on brickshelf, I didn't have a military folder at the time, and if I move it, the result would be many broken links! I'll have to poke around here more often! Also, if anyone ends up building a version of this from my instructions, I'd love to see it, so please PM me with a link! -Mike

Military Humvee
Thank you all for the responses! Normally I build spaceships, so building a real world machine was a different sort of challange for me. @Lego2000- Good to see a few familiar faces around here! @xenologer- I had to make alot of sacrifices to get this anywhere near minifig scale, but I wanted opening doors. The doors are actually strong enough as they are, they just look a little odd. There are other places in the model that are much flimsier, believe me! @Calvin- I'm no expert on military weaponry, so I don't know which version of the Humvee this is, but here is a link to my reference picture. I may still tinker with this for a bit, but I'll be sure to post more new creations here when I have them. -Mike

Fun With Photoshop
I've been playing around with photoshop using some of my MOC photos and here's the result: This is the first time I've tried to add exhaust to the engine nozzles and there's plenty of room for improvement but it dosn't look too shabby either! -Mike

Contest: Junker Bandit Build-off!
The main reason I put a size limit on the eligibility for prizes is that if you can put together a top-notch ship that is huge in a limited time, then you don't need a grab-bag of Lego bricks from my collection, you're doing well enough on your own. Don't let that stop you from building big, but over 100 studs won't qualify for the cash and prizes! -Mike

Contest: Junker Bandit Build-off!
I'm hosting a ship building contest over on flickr that is open to any who are interested. Here is an exerpt to give you an idea what the contest is about: Nomadic thieves steal parts from unattended spacecraft in far-off spaceports to piece together their fighters. They scavange battle fields in deep space for debris to integrate into their fleet. Their ships are lumpy, mismatched, rusty, and lethal! Don't be fooled by the chewing gum and paperclips that appear to hold them together! They prove to be more than a worthy adversary in battle, having pirated the best technologies of all the races and factions that explore space. If you see them in the skies above you, know that you are in the wrong part of town! more info can be found here: flickr link please feel free to enter the contest, or just keep an eye on it as entries start rolling in! Thanks, Mike

Not-So-Newbie from Across the Pond
Hello! I'm new to EB, but have been active in the AFOL community for about a year. I usually post over on CSF and flickr, but am trying to broaden my horizons. Here's my brickshelf folder. As you can see, I build almost entirely space MOCs. What can I say, I'm obsessed. Thanks for having me. I shall now proceed to wander aimlessly about the forums for a while. -Mike
