  1. Would be awesome but there's a few parts that doesn't come in orange, like the #5 and 6 panels :(
  2. Oh my......... Just beautiful, and it's red! Got tons of red parts from 2 disassembled 8070s lol.
  3. lol that was the first set to get me out of the dark ages. Used it as parts now....
  4. Just finished building it today.... What an amazing and beautiful car. The usage of panels and angles are great. Here's a group shot of Paul's Lambos, 8070 and of course the Vampire GT. (I need more room to fit these cars lol)
  5. Was also the case when Blakbird released your Murcielago mpd and the whole shortage on Yellow #4 connectors. My car is still missing them but at least they're somewhat available compared to just a few months back. http://www.bricklink.com/catalogPG.asp?P=32192&colorID=3 This time should be better though, since the bushes aren't as rare as the aforementioned part...
  6. In the process of gathering parts.... Besides the 19L Black flex axles that has substitutes, I'm having a hard time getting Black Technic Bushes. Will probably end up using a Sharpie over regular bushes till they become more available.
  7. Wondering if you're adding Designer Han's MOCs http://www.designer-han.nl/lego/
  8. I'll be happy with anything not red or yellow. Really happy if it was blue
  9. Just got my set yesterday and am in the process of sorting all the parts for the build later today. The set is heavier than I expected I think I'll get another set when there's a sale going on, or double VIP points... It's well worth it for all the unique parts that will probably be used only once.
  10. The arm on the 8110 is something left to be desired because it requires precision to operate and pneumatics don't offer that. I'm sure that pneumatics will be a lot better for the plow since it's either up/down or left/right :D I'm liking this claw and it looks more in place than the huge bucket imo.
  11. I can. In fact, the countries that got the worst of it is New Zealand and Switzerland. 399.99 NZD = 350.91 USD = 245.66 EUR = 335.92 CAD 269 CHF = 346.77 USD = 242.67 EUR = 332.09 CAD Talk about a ripoff...... This is also why I'm surprised that Canada didn't get the shaft this time, unlike with every other set.
  12. I was actually surprised that it was going for $199.99/$249.99, the same price as 8043. It's much more expensive in every other region. By the way, is it true that if a retail Lego store is out of stock on a set, they'll ship it to your door for free?
  13. It's listed on S@H for certain regions. http://shop.lego.com/en-DE/Mercedes-Benz-Unimog-U-400-8110?c=TECHNIC-ByTheme&_requestid=6553997' Nothing for US/Canada yet though
  14. I'm really liking the mower attachment and the safety sign crash thing in the back. And I guess someone is bound to make a tow bar/hitch for the mog.
  15. So many good parts. It's going to be a tough long wait for many of us
  16. Going through the pictures again and noticed something... Anyone notice the dump truck box on the bottom right? It looks similar to Han's design.
  17. It's a given that this set will appreciate in value with time. Some of these parts will never be used again and I don't foresee any small sets with those huge wheels. I want 2, knowing that I'll never get the sets I missed in my dark ages, this is the next best thing Edit: Why are there numbered bags in a flagship
  18. So they make a new mold for the wheels but they wouldn't make black 44s.... They really stick out like a sore thumb, much like the ugly 8070 butt. I am disappoint.
  19. Yep. It makes buying sets off Barnes and Noble seem like a deal, but it's a shame they don't stock Technic often. I've only ever managed to get 8053 there... I've actually explored the option to use package forwarders but since TLG likes to pack their sets in unnecessary large boxes, buying from S@H at Canadian prices is sometimes cheaper.
  20. I see that Paul (Crowkillers) has posted on TB on his observations of the set. For me, I'll get this set if it has the new CV joints.
  21. I guess most of the sets you're seeing are from Europe and shipping any of the listed set would set you back 40+ Euros. Just keep that in mind when ordering. Aside from that, any of those sets are great.
  22. Here's my modified version to rectify the ugly rear end. I also removed the rear wing and demotorized the set. Took a bit of figuring out to get the manual functions and it's not pretty, but it works...
  23. Received my 2 sets today, one for parts and the other for the model. I love the packaged cardboard instructions since I can keep a set unopened and undamaged
  24. That looks so much better. I'm hoping someone would remove the motor altogether and have the functions manually operated. I think it's way more playable that way.
