  1. I usually pack the bricks in columns, too. Just refilled my large PaB, and had 540 1x2 (which is an average amount, because I pack them in the same way whenever I refill them) sand blue bricks and used 1x1 purple studs to fill in the space. How did you pack 627 1x2 bricks? :) - Bianca

It's listed as Sold Out on United States Lego.com. I think it's finally happening.
  3. I think the design of most of the sets are more of an elaborated backdrop for the minifigs. Please don't get me wrong, but if there were more sets like the bagend, helm's deep, and the Orthanc tower, I for sure would be one of the first in line to pick more of them up to help boost the sales.
  4. It's my concern, too. It bothers me that between MinasTirith and Edoras, Minastirith seems a safer bet. Since we already have two major sets (helm's deep and orthanc) in the first two movies released, more people are expecting a major set from the third. However, being a big Weta and PJ fan myself, I do hope TLG will consider making a decent Edoras set. Because the level of detail Weta put into the actual film set is just astonishing. Since the real film set had to be torn down to preserve the natural environment, a well-designed LEGO set seems to be the only way we can remember it by ( yes I do watch the extended DVD once a year for almost ten years). Fingers crossed.

Hi LukeWarmTea! Thank you for the reply. Yes, I'm a female AFOL. I will change the tag to a girly one :) I have so much to browse around on the forum so I didn't realize I had a "Vassal" tag under my icon :P See you around on the boards!
  7. The interior design is superb! Is the fireplace too close to the TV, just a thought. Great job capturing the architectural characteristics of the original building!
  8. The monkey looks interesting, and I think I'll pick it up when it's available in my local store. It's going to be my second animal build after Geoffrey the giraffe.

I'd love to believe the "missing" sections above the kitchen and the living room are where the parents' room and a study is. It'd be great to see a MOC that makes it happen.
  10. I'm looking forward to seeing a set based on Edoras, the golden hall of Rohan. I know such projects exist on CUUSOO. However, it'd be cool to see a set of the entire village on the mountain, as seen in the movie. Hopefully the golden hall will be a good plus to the LotR line, since the Helm's Deep set gave us quite a lot of grey bricks, and the Orthanc tower set gave us a lot of black bricks, I can see a golden hall set give us a lot of sand/reddish brown, also building techniques of small/big cottage.

FB was the very first modular building I picked up, and it was a great build. I don't think I'll pick another one up even it's likely to be discontinued by the end of this year, but it'll be sad to see it finally take its bow.

Hello from Maryland! It's great to finally join Eurobricks. I look forward to reading more impressive MOC and set reviews, and creating my own models to share with all of you! Cheers, Bianca
  13. The cargo plane looks interesting, so does the container truck. I just finished the mini container truck, which was a great build :)
  14. The pull-down bed reminds me of the LEGO-style apartment I once saw on Youtube: It inspires me to create a vignette of a compact apartment. :)
  15. Considering getting multiple copies of this set to make a complete Arkham Asylum MOC. At least one cell for each major villain in the city. :)
