[TC22] Underground dumper
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI am not be able to do a decent bodywork yet so I changed the front suspension to the center, in the articulated steering, now I have more room in the front part for not to be able to do a decent bodywork again . The system right now is like in the caterpillar dumpers but it can change again... I forget to put pics . I discarted at first because I thought it would be a weak point but it is stronger that I thought.

[TC22] Bucket Wheel Excavator [Free instructions]
jorgeopesi replied to artemisovsky's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingA smaller cabin would make the MOC looks bigger and even more impressive that already it is.

[TC22] Underground dumper
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingMore stuff... I want the steering above the cabin and something to turn in the middle to operate the bed. My first idea was to use a normal pump but now I am thinking about using a custom pump mixed with the bodywok, so if I am able to do a decent bodywork and bed we would have, 2 diffs, 6 cylinders inline engine, front oscillating suspension, articulated steering, pneumatic bed and maybe openable door and hood...

[TC22] Skid Excavator [Done] or End Loader [Done] (Free Instructions)
jorgeopesi replied to Thirdwigg's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI would like to have more pressure fron Lego but they would have to change too many things, the 42139 and 42136 are a good start... and both use the same tyres, I see them everywhere...

[TC22] Skid Excavator [Done] or End Loader [Done] (Free Instructions)
jorgeopesi replied to Thirdwigg's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI thought a lot about buying them but I bought the zetros ones and did not use them yet... I do not have too much Lego and I would like to have even less, so I do not usually buy sets, too many parts for only a couple of them that I really want, I am sorry for the off-topic.

[TC22] Underground dumper
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI like nothing but the pneumatic stuff and the size... I also think that a black rims would do the tyres look bigger, we have 51x15x13 inside the red frame.

[TC22] Technic Small Construction Vehicle Contest - Discussion Topic
jorgeopesi replied to Jim's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingTry to make it as official as possible using Sbrick or Buwizz is quite a contradiction, isn´t it?, I should have read the rules better, fortunately my entry is not RC but if it was, a purist like me would be in disadvantage in a contest with Lego for using only Lego. What is Lego´s opinion on those components?. Adding extra space for those who only use Lego would be good, at least measure of two Lego receibers more or less.

[TC22] Underground dumper
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingBut you can create them while you do not have the real ones, right?. Well like my money for lego is only dedicated to the new pieces I could not consider them expensive.

[TC22] Liaz 250 dumptruck
jorgeopesi replied to NoEXIST's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingOur nonexistent problem is that nowadays nobody can say what a Technic set or MOC really is. Good example with the 42078, for me is almost a model team set with functions. In the end all is money, if they can sell us more pieces that Technic needed before they will do it and they will not change the name Technic from the box.

[TC22] Liaz 250 dumptruck
jorgeopesi replied to NoEXIST's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWhen they are fold you have 15 studs, now I understand, good work. The only part I do not like is the front, too much use of tyles does not fit with my technic view, but I think is my problem more or less.

[TC22] Liaz 250 dumptruck
jorgeopesi replied to NoEXIST's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAre you sure you are under the 10000?, I count 36x18x19, the mirrors can be a trouble for you.

[TC22] Underground dumper
jorgeopesi replied to jorgeopesi's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingMaybe you are right, I usually do first the most difficult option and then I start to see easier choices... but I also wanted the steering above the cabin and this way It is easier to get It.
