  3. Thanks i found this, "On 18 July 1700, so the official British Admiralty reports, Captain John Cranby discovered his frigate HMS Poole (built) 1696 of Nye in East Cowes, 32 guns Wynnes ship Adventure when the Cape Verde Island of Brava. For several days, but Wynne escaped pirates, other than two Pirate ships (La Foudre Lussan and treasure under Moore), his support appeared [2] followed Cranby. Cranby's report is, as far as known, the first mention of a flag with the skull and crossed bones on a pirate ship: "a black flag with crossed bones, a skull and an hourglass" ("a sable ensign with cross bones, a death's head, and an hour glass"). very little online about this man, strange.
  4. anyone on here know what Emanuel [Emmanuel] Wynn [Wynne]'s ship was called?
  5. Good work fred I have seen this also,in the sale around christmas, some star wars sets that had been sold out for weeks suddenly became available for the sale. But alas sold out immediately Its very fishy, why hold back a few sets(if any) for the sales? I dont believe that they happen to stumble on a few lost boxes of stock either. Shenanigans indeed.
  6. Just seen the ad for the black arf trooper on s@h,exclusive offers for may 3rd and 4th
  7. The pics are on shop@home two new magnet sets aswell. Magnet Set: AT-AT Driver, Ben Kenobi, TIE Fighter Pilot and Magnet Set: Anakin Skywalker, Thi-Sen and Clone Pilot yes there should be a pin going through his hood ,head and into the body. its not so hard to remove with some tools.
  8. have you seen this
  9. The SW magnet sets are not glued yet, only ninjago and pharaohs quest are glued from what ive heard,I have gotten a few sw magnets since new year and they were as sweet as normal. Read the description of any magnet sets you intend buying if they are glued it should say so.
  10. Ok sorry about that Im new here.
  11. happy new year
  12. Wow!delusions of grandeur Lol,look whos talking. If i take charge of the company I will be sure to send you a glue free magnet set so you can see what one looks like Just sayin'.
  13. Because they dont have the rights to release the figs by themselves. It was a loophole to release star wars figs. The overwhelming majority of People are only buying these magnet sets for the figs. Id say about 5 percent end up on the fridge. Lego should have dropped the star wars magnet sets altogether, instead of ruining all of the non license themes with glue. This is the death of large magnet set sales.
  14. Just seen this now on lego s@h USA a customers review of LEGO Pharaoh’s Quest Magnet Set "*****Buyer warning - these magnets are glued!!!!!! Since I am not interested in actually putting legos on my refrigerator, I removed the minifigures from the magnet bases. I was able to do it, but this was not an easy process and I had to be very careful to not damage the minifigures. The head and hat/hairpeice are not glued, but the torso is glued to the legs, and the legs are glued to the magnet. (The 3 map tiles are not glued either)" This is very bad news using glue on lego is totally wrong. For those people who think bricklink will soon be magnet fig free,i dont think that will happen for a long time. What this means is the price of figs and accessories on bricklink and ebay is going to go up. As for the cheap chinese plastic debate,I really dont see much difference in quality. Ive never heard any kids complain about the quality. Its sad that so many great figs will now be glued to a magnet. Here in Sweden magnet sets are top sellers, the s@h top 25 is dominated by them. This is bad news for the kids not just the adults.
